“Adam! I have the best idea!” Ches grins as she sits down next to him. “Why don’t we borrow a police car? I mean, sure we still have cops lurking around but it’s not like they actually have power. And it’s not like we won’t give it back - I’ve just always wanted to ride in the front seat of one.” She gives him the puppy dog eyes, hoping that maybe he’d consider it this time.
Adam was also the friend who tried to tell her no in hopes protecting her after all.
