Life of the Party-Shepard and Martel RP
“Hey, Max! Bring me the whiskey, would you?” Adriano shouted through the open back window of the family lake house.
Adriano flips the burgers on the grill and watches the kids, most of whom are in their teens now, play around the lake.
“And Shy, do you mind helping me with the chicken? I’ve got a lot on the grill right now.”
My Shep, Adamina, is a twin and she has four younger siblings. She also has two children at the beginning of Mass Effect 1 that her grandparents raise while she's doing her Alliance thing. Also, my boyfriend and I have an entire AU where his Shepards and mine end up marrying before and after the war. In that AU Adamina and Max (my twins) and his Shepard, Naswyn, have children.

I’d love to know how your Shepard’s handle being away from their children and families during ME1,2 &3 - especially when they’re “dead” between ME1 and 2.

Coulson usually ignored the green glow of the ticking numbers on the inside of his forearm. It took all the mystery out of romance, he thought. Most people meet their soul mate, and yet they wind up marrying someone else. Why worry? On this particular day, however, those digits were rather distracting. Coulson woke early, as usual, to discover only hours left on his clock. He dressed quickly, eager to put it out of mind. In his nine o'clock meeting, Coulson found himself sliding up his sleeve to peek at the numbers: 00:26:43... Twenty six minutes. He felt sick. Avoiding the S.H.I.E.L.D cafeteria for one day wouldn't hurt him, even though it went against every instinct he had. Coulson was a creature of habit. He ate (almost) the same meal, at the same time, in the same cafeteria. He even sat in the same chair, on the same table people had dubbed "Coulson's Corner". Not today. Coulson craved something that would wake him from his stupor long enough to be somewhat coherent when the clock hit zero, that wasn't the cafeteria sludge. Ignoring the stares that accompanied him leaving the building, breaking his seven year long routine, Coulson crossed the road, heading on the ten-or-so minute walk over to his favourite little unknown coffee hideaway. Unbeknownst to Coulson, this break of habit was the exact reason he'd come face to his soulmate.

04:Would you let a hostage die in order to catch the criminal, or save the hostage and let the criminal get away?
As a rule, I try to save the hostage, but if the criminal is bad enough, a sacrifice is necessary. I remember helping Zaeed catch Vido Santiago. I was willing to let everyone in the refinery die to catch him, and had Shyanne and Max not split off, those people would be dead, but Vido had to die.
07:If you were about to kill your mortal enemy, and their child appeared to beg for their parent’s life, would you spare your enemy?
What a tough choice! Is taking out an enemy worth ruining a child’s life? The Illusive Man, if he had kids maybe. Saren definitely, even though he wasn't my problem. Aria maybe. But I think my enemy would walk away if his child came in.
09:Would you steal from a wealthy corporation if it wouldn't affect any individual?
I would only do it if I knew that no one lower down would be hurt. I would then use the money to help those that needed help. Refugees, orphans, the people on places like Omega and the Citadel that are just ignored. That's the only way I would commit a crime that like.
13:Would you rather kill a criminal or send them to prison?
Depends on the criminal. A scumbag like Dr. Saleon I would send him straight to hell, if I had the chance to go back. Others, like Elias Kellam, I would as soon have them rot in prison. But some criminals deserve a chance at redemption. Kolyat Krios is one. His father, Thane, is another. So that's my opinion on that.
17:What is your greatest virtue?
My drop dead gorgeous ass. I don't guess that's what were are looking for. I guess I would have to say my courage. Some days my fear has held my almost paralyzed, but I have still gotten up everyday, put on my uniform, clothes, whatever and faced what has come. And done it with style.
20:If you had a twin/clone, would you be the evil one or the good one?
I don't think there would be a "good one" or an "evil one". We would be equal. And there would be few who could stand in our way. In this scenario would it be possible to clone Addison? That way my brother and cousin don't lose their wives? Because my twin would probably take either Shyanne or Adamina. OK, I guess I would be the good one. Or at least the decent one. Of course sometimes, I would be the evil one, like getting Fulia drunk or pranking Naswyn. So we would switch I guess.

Will it ever be over?
With Dean like this and him - not really all that better, Sam knew that for once, he had to take care of everything. The hideout, his brother, the situation in general - it made it hard for Sam to focus on the simplest things, he now realized.
He knew that this was not going to be easy - that Dean could get worse at any time, but driving was good. Driving made him think less - and worry, less. He was only on the hunt for food tonight, but the thoughts were going faster than the Impala did.

Naswyn and Adamina had been watching terrible horror movies and it had gotten late. Mina had curled up against the arm of the couch, and Naswyn had fallen asleep with her head on Adamina's hip. Naswyn popped her neck and shook her friend awake.
