Adam Headcanons
As might be expected, given what happens in the show, Adam actually has a thing for really strong people. He has a little bit of a kink for people who take control and likes being ordered around a little more than he should.
He just wants a strong dommy mommy type partner to step on him, even just in a fantasy way.
However, he’s also really attracted to kindness in a person. One of the strongest ways for anyone to turn him off, even just from a friendship perspective and guarantee that Adam won’t want to be around them, is if they treat service/retail workers like sub-humans or are purposefully rude to people who would be viewed as ‘lesser-than’.
Adam is aware that he’s handsome and he’s not above using his looks to appeal to people or to get him something he wants.
He’s actually really into fashion. He likes looking put together and he keeps up on men’s fashion trends. While he has his own set sense of style, he appreciates other styles and types of fashion, both gendered and non-gendered. While it’s not his thing, he really likes the trend of masculine looking people being comfortable wearing dresses or skirts, really leaning into the contrast.
He likes androgyny and wishes he could pull it off better.
He wants to start working out but he gets intimidated every time he goes to the gym. He has no idea where to really starts.
He keeps going to Ronaldo for advice, thinking that they’re good friends now. Sometimes the advice is simple things, like needing date ideas or wanting to know how to better integrate into the human world. Other times, like when Adam wants sexual advice or to talk about things in that sphere, Ronaldo physically kicks him out and tells him not to come back. Adam always does.
He’s got a really good nose and can quickly learn to tell people by their scents. If someone he knows is meeting him somewhere or going to visit him (or if he’s going to visit them), he’ll know they’re there before even seeing them because of their smell.
Because of this quirk of his, he is very, very picky about his own scent. He showers twice a day, uses only particular brands and scents for his shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair pomade, etc. He does have a cologne he wears, Prada Carbon, that he really likes for its mild, clean scent.
Surprising a lot of people, he actually has a huge love for metal music.
He likes winter a lot and he collects snow globes.
He’s very clean as a person. On top of that, he does actually enjoy cleaning, doing laundry, and taking on household chores. He finds them relaxing and getting to see the beautiful, clean rooms after he’s cleaned gives him a great sense of satisfaction.
The only part of being a vampire he doesn’t like is needing blood. While it’s delicious, and he enjoys it, he knows that it makes others afraid of him at times, which is the last thing he wants. He genuinely wants to live in harmony with people.
