I had a dream last night and we were sitting in my car and you kept crying and crying telling me how much you regretted your suicide. You told me you were at the funeral with us and that you saw us all cry and that was the hardest thing for you to see, harder than the jump. I kept holding you close, letting you know we loved you and that you were always going to be in our hearts. You told me that you find your paradise swimming in the YMCA pool with the kids and that you don't miss a day there. You took my piece and packed a bowl and smoked with me. We got high together and that was the end of my dream. Rest in peace my friend, we should stop crying so that you can too, <3

I had been feeling homesick for Philly then last night, I found a (Philly's own) Hall & Oates pin gum-ball machine!  Needless to say, I stocked up.  It was minutes before Royal Young hosted a reading for Elizabeth Crane Brandt, Adam Wilson and I in a beautiful house on the Lower East Side.  A good omen for a great night.
