A Dangerous Game

“Well, I can’t do that, really, I like you too much.” The note of anger in the god’s voice should be a warning, but Jinyong felt himself smiling sweetly. It was hard to pinpoint what exactly it was about this particular god that rubbed Jinyoung wrong. It might have been the whole “authority figure” thing. Or the conglomerate of the character traits that embodied what Jinyoung tend to rebel against - self-imposed notion of being… well… god. Oh. Well. Whatever the reason, Jinyoung found it was hard to resist to annoy the god a little whenever he could.

“I was just inquiring how’s the life? Smitten someone recently? Or was smitten maybe?” He sat uninvited at the table and continued. “I was drinking, I mean, thinking yesterday, if all gods were furries, what costume would they choose - and I bet you’d be a goat.”

Zeus couldn’t fathom what the demigod might have thought when he came up with this ingenious plan of his. Did he honestly think he could break into his apartment, act like the world belonged to solely him, mock the King of the gods and return home from a very tiring yet accomplished day unpunished? Well, if that was the case, the boy would be in for a big surprise.

If Zeus hadn’t been angry yet when he had come home, finding the cockroach to be leisurely seated at his table acting like he owned the damn joint, then he sure was when the boy refused to leave. Zeus had done his utmost best to remain as polite as possible to the scumbag at his table. The only thing the god had done had been balling his fists and commanding the boy to leave. But now he was done being polite. If this boy wanted to die, Zeus was more than happy to fulfill his wish.

The words of the other went completely passed the god as he focused his gaze on his target. The rest of the world blurring around the imbecile, all of his muscles tensed up. “Do you have any idea who you dare to speak back to?” Thunder roaring in his voice, it was a apparent sign of danger to come. “Get. Out. Now.” Lightning crackling in the air around the two, a thunderbolt began to form in his right hand. It sizzling with his fury and the light of it would be close to blinding the demigod. “And don’t come back or I’ll kill you.”

It was Zeus’ last warning. If the demigod would not leave he would unleash his lighting.
