When I was at high school I joined Adasa club for photography, it was an amazing journey where I met professional people in that field, I went outing to different places like El-Max, El-Manshya and cairo. I learned alot from my Colleagues. The marvelous point that Adasa made meet up every week, I remembered the meeting very well, it was divided in to 3 parts. The first part was speeches by members for new Artists and analyze their photos for example, the greatest artist Steve meckury and discuss his adventures. The second part was speech by the owner about new techniques in photography. The third part was exhibition by guests. It was the funniest part as everyone spoke about his experience and the idea of his photos.
When I joined university, I made media coverage for birthday partiesfor my colleagues. I enjoyed editing photos and give photo cards to my professors and my friends. After time I involved in project called Humanity ,it was a project about animal protection, I liked the idea .I made my efforts to add values to that place. Then I joined Indian project through online platform called social media goods to discuss certain topics by photos. Then, I decided to focus on my field of study, I made media coverage for practical work during semesters then I decided to enter online competition it's called lab story, I liked the idea so I picked a photo and explained it so the organisation put it online on the gallery.
I worked as a volunteer for different associations where I made media coverage for different campaigns like medical campaigns, Ramadan and Eid campaign in rural areas.in addition to that, I was volunteer in time machine events Egypt scholar where we made events in bibliotheca Alexandria and faculty of engineering.
There are 2 types of photography artistic photos and documentry photos. I like documentary type more than artistic and there are differences between them.documentary events it is important to take main photos that tell story about that event. In documentary, we ignore the light, colours or the view of the scene. On the other hand, the artistic photos are talents ,it depends on the point of view. There are types of artistic photos like portrait, landscape and Architecture.I joined many competitions in bibliotheca Alexandria exhibition one of them titled happiness .It was the hardest topic for me as I asked my self what's the happiest moments that I should capture. I made survey for that question, I asked my friends various questions regarding to happiness but their replies disappointed me to take a new photo then by chance, I found a child 8 years old, I asked him what makes you happy, he said to me eating apples so I captured a photo a guy with apples and I put the title happiness is eating apple.I applied this photo to the competition. They accepted my photo and they saved it in the gallery. It was a challenge specially in competitions as they put certain topics and we should get idea matching to that. I joined other competition called our streets in Ramadan. It was one of the best topics for me specially in Egypt, We have alot of habits in Ramadan.
Finally,I accepted in internship called stories through photos.
it is organised by bibliotheca Alexandria and it is cooperation with Adasa club.
Photography is a journey, I hope to travel around the world to pick photos.
