Exploring the possibilities of with building some different scenes out of existing assets. It is interesting making a game that is only 5 minutes long but through that process I’ve made enough tilesets to make something much larger.

Editing audio and syncing it to in-game subtitles. It is funny how you can work on a project for so long without certain features (like voice acting) and then new life is breathed into it once they are added. It is nice that something so familiar can still be surprising. I am also feeling thankful that my characters don't have mouths: lip syncing made easy!
Personal Update
Folks that have been around here a long time know I use to be much more personally active on this blog. And then I got away from it because some people saw that while I might be online and blogging, I wasn’t answering questions or fulfilling orders during that time. (Because you always need to be working, right???) Then many of the people I talked to poofed (which is totally common but it left a void.) So I backed way off and became more distance.
Recently I’ve decided that I’d try and get back to knowing my followers more and getting more personal again (within reason).
So here’s the olive branch.
First, for new followers, I’ll introduce myself. I’m Samantha known in these circles as This Crooked Crown. I’m a professional witch, tarot card reader, and hopefully soon a professional writer. My shops are here and here. I live in Rhode Island and by and large, I’m a hermit and I have an invisible illness. Mostly, I’m a secular, hard polytheist, animist witch, seer, and spirit worker/walker. Overall, my style focuses on secular Anglo folklore and superstitions with a strong tendency to sea and water magic.
What I’ve been working on:
Witchcraft lessons and topic courses based on my own personal brand of witchcraft
Changing up some of my shop to be more streamlined
Adding more variety to the shop (coming soon)
Repainting and sprucing up my apartment (and helping out in my mother’s area of the house)
Writing as usual. Participating in NaNoWriMo this month.
Created a new servitor.
Dealing with some changes involving my spirit shenanigans.
Future Secret Plans (FSP).
Kicking ass in various video games and plowing through stacks of books.
Adding new exercise routines such as weekly kayaking and more time at the gym.
Individual projects of event updates:
Lessons & Courses: I’ll be launching at least one course before the end of the year. It’s almost done. I’m hoping to have two done.
Urchin Prince: Although not directly a project, some visions recently clarified sharply so apparently I’m on track?
Books: Spirit Walker is done and there’s only a few things I want to check for consistency before sending it off to publishers in December. The Sea Witch is this year’s current NaNoWriMo and of this writing, is going very well.
FSP: Going very well, considering it has many moving parts that need to be handled.
I know there isn’t many new revelations in there but that’s the update.
As usual, you can always ask questions about anything, even personal questions. There’s a really good chance I’ll answer them and if I won’t I’ll say as much.
I started a devlog over at TIGSource forums. It is interesting doing one for a project that is fairly small but it will be great to expose and track process nonetheless.
