First Check In
Paigey and I decided to keep each other motivated and inspired by checking in on a daily or close to daily basis with our progress.
For today, January 3rd, I’d just like to take time to discuss my goals. For 2017 I’m going to strive to be happy. That’s a vague resolution for a reason. There are a lot of things that I can do to make myself a happier person. So for this I’d like to say that I would like to accomplish the following:
Drinking a healthy amount of water a day (1 gal+)
Exercising daily (at least 5 times a week all for more than 30 mins each)
Having a healthier more wholesome diet
Gaining enough abdominal strength to take on pole dancing classes
Go back to school and major in either biology or pharmaceutical medicine.
Be the best, most loving and nurturing mom I can be.
Please take note of how none of my goals include numbers or body measurements. This is because, after a loooonnng time of trial and error, I do believe now that my best chance at being happy with myself is to let my body be. Improving my overall quality of life will make positive changes to my body and I will be more confident than ever.
As for today’s check in:
Drink a healthy amount of water: YES: I drank 1 gallon throughout my day.
I did light exercise for about 10 minutes today because my body is actually beating itself up from yesterdays workout. For diet.. well.. it was definitely wholesome. Meatloaf and veggies for dinner, pork and sauerkraut for lunch, and an egg with bacon on a wrap this morning. Surprisingly, no chocolate today.
