So, er, in ‘random facts of mine’ I actually did Air Cadets for a while. Like you know, military air cadets, lmao.

The reason I did it, as a teenager, was because a good friend of mine in high school was PINING for this dude (troy TROY *sings in a loving tone* TROYYYYYYY - total knucklehead sorry Troy but you were) and he was doing ARMY cadets. But she couldn’t get into army cadets, and she wouldn’t do air cadets on her own, and she begged me to do air cadets with her and I was like ‘sure I’ll do that’ because we were good mates and like, so that’s the story of how I did air cadets.

Which as a cynical, military-hating person was a trip, let me tell you.

She and I are still friends, lmao. Although fuck knows what happened to Troy.

Throwing in 'The Bridge' (watcheable on Netflix) too. I liked the danish/swedish original so much more.

Oh yes, three different versions of Wallander, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, etc. So many Scandinavian crime stories.

It seems to me, looking at the Hollywood in the past, like in the 1980th, there was more creativity allowed and the regisseurs were allowed to make their movies and to show their mindwork. Now Hollywood is so affraid of loosing money. So the big film companies makes remakes of great movies to stay safe and even kicking out regisseurs in the middle of movie making, over-controlling the act of making a movie until the original idea of an writer and the regisseur is death.

Amen. It is all about money-making. Wouldn’t be surprised that following Bandersnatch on Netflix we now get movies based on the most popular choices the viewers did. After all the whole movie was just a machine learning device.

The thing is: some people interpreted the rumour as "Tom will only be the narrator and will NOT star in the show", while it has been said earlier that it was expected he would reprise his role. If it's the case and we don't see Tom's Loki AT ALL, I understand Loki's disappointment. BUT if we do see Loki (Tom's Loki that is) as a magician and a shapeshifter, and the show introduces Lady Loki, past Loki and Kid Loki (who's different than Past Loki) as well, I'm all for it.

Yeah, but I think that is an overreaction at this point. It is a rumour based on someone that said he knows that they are playing around with ideas. Even he himself never said anything to suggest that Tom isn’t in it as an actor. I guess it is a bit like Chinese whispers in that from rumour to rumour the role that Tom will play got smaller and smaller based on the fears of some fans. So “there might be other forms of Loki” turned into “Tom will only narrate and Marvel pushed him away.” Marvel announced that Tom would star and I think Marvel isn’t that dumb to announce one thing and then do the total opposite. There’s no reason to believe that Tom doesn’t play Loki.

Exactly! I refuse to put any credence into those narration only rumours right now, simply because there's yet to be anything approaching a credible source. But I would love to see Loki in all his possible guises, so if that means that we get Tom!Loki for maybe 6 episodes, at the end of which Loki shapeshifts into another body? I'd be more than happy to watch that too. Also, it would be great to get young Loki stories too.

Yep, I try to think of the positive possibilities. We got confirmation for Tom, now we got rumours of maybe other Loki’s as well. If that means a regular Loki series with other incarnations? I’m totally up for it. Let Tom start the show and then others join. :)

Yes! Voting ended about a month and a half ago.

These chapters wouldn’t even exist if it wasn’t for the Patreon in the first place. (Same with Spoils of the Spoiled coming off hiatus and As Green as the Ragged Grass existing. They were also both voted for (although Green was initially just ‘15k for the kinkfest’ which became like, instead of 3 individual kinkfest chapters, a separate kinkfest novella, lol).

Quynh. It is weird to dream about a person every night, that you’ve never met. There are all these emotions and this deep link, where you don’t really have an idea what his happening. So when we met it was kind of really confusing.

Nile. Original plan was that Joe and Nicky get married. Nile and I thought it would be super cute. We spent months on research and planning and creating this perfect event! Not only that. If characteres in productions like this HAVE different accents and in such a prominent way than you can bet your firstborn child on it that they did get some kind of voice coaching and the accents are intentional. … Boy oh boy. Such a whiney dipshit.

Yeah, very likely. The strongest accents has a character that plays a German journalists - someone that is seen as something like the "German" voice in the show. I have hardly ever heard such a strong accent by a German who is fluent in English, so it is more than likely intentional. Other characters have more shifty backgrounds, so their accents are more "travelled" as well. To me as a German they sound all like normal German accents though. Go to any English course with mainly German students and you'll hear a plethora of different accents, even when all people are fluent in English.
