So

Had a dark thought today, my sister proposed the idea of us hanging on Wednesday. She's sober, never had addiction problems with alcohol but had bad emotional experiences with it so she has maybe one cocktail once a year. We'd just be hanging out in a quirky shopping district, get boba, and chill, which genuinely sounds like fun.

But as I was hanging around tonight, thinking about that day, the idea of walking around with zero alcohol for a few hours my head spat out the thought, "I don't know if I can be sober anymore" which scared me.

I get pessimistic and defeatist, I'm not depressed but I naturally dip into that when I'm low. But when a thought like that feels deeply true, that shit fucks with me if only for a half second.

The moment passed, but it was a hell of a moment.
