The fact that addiction is illegal and you get jailed for having it. It's our bodies, should be our choice. What does it matter to them, as long as we aren't harming others, literally the only involved party to what happens in our body should be us. Why is denying bodily autonomy suddenly a good thing when someone's an addict?

Oh boy. Yeah, no, I will never stop being pissed that addiction is illegal in many locations. Making a disability illegal is so cruel.
Addicts deserve safety, harm reduction, and help. Not jail and punishment.
Sure, there's more nuance if a person's addiction is leading them to put others in danger, but they still shouldn't be treated with cruelty. They should still recieve actual, genuine help.
(It also gets into the whole "prisoner abuse should be deemed unacceptable and its horrifying how normalized it is" thing, but thats a whole other tangent I could go down.)
