"The laughing heart"

"The laughing heart" by Charles Bukowsky is one of my fav poems and in this video I have disassembled and reassembled the key phrases by the original narration as a soft-rap or call it as you like.

I have then divided the phrases in separate tracks and composed the base music. 

After this, on the base loop, I have played every single phrase as an instrument and then I have used two different Synths: one for each ensemble arrangement.

I'm starting to exploring the power of create by myself everything. From picture to movies, from movies to soundtrack. 

Like my friend Roger Guetta say, it's extremely "Coolio".

A low budget black&white riddle

I love making very short movies but mostly to create their soundtrack.

I have discovered that the iPad offer a good way for a "wannabe musician" like me to produce music at a quite good level. This thanks to Audiobus that allow to link various music and instrument application in chain to be recorder in a multitrack recorder (DAW).

AREMAC with a custom made filter. 

iMovie for the editing and for add the custom soundtrack. 

APPS USED FOR THE SOUNDTRACK: 

Addictive Synth for the rhythm

Cube Shynth for the effects.

Loopy HD for recording the loops

GarageBand for recording the final track played on the Loopy HD track.

AudioBus 2 for mixing all this inputs sources into GarageBand.

If I have some time I'd like to make a "Show&Tell" to demonstrate how easy this process is.
