The newest member of wall art. I didn’t like the previous black and gold one so I re-did it in red. The one to the right is new. I have been working on depth. Eventually when the new red spray paint arrives I’ll finish the third.

I do have to cut a few pieces off our @themirokai red Japanese maple for this to work, but it does need a trim. Ok for those that truly trim #JapaneseMaplesTrees only do in November or December in EST or you will f’ up your tree.

The first piece that my mother-in-law thought we bought so I must be doing something right. 16x40 canvas using leather that I formed using water and cooking in the oven and then used spray paint to color it. I finished by stapling the leather to the silver spray painted canvas. I did this when @themirokai was out in case this turned out poorly for the oven.

This is a new experiment. We shall see how it turns out. This is dry wall spackle on canvas in attempts to look like dragon scales. I used my lemon meringue pie technique on the spackle to make the scales because why not. Once it dries I plan to do the pour technique as seen by my other work. It may fail, it may not.
