Okay. I've finally had some time to actually process Addison's return to Grey's so, here's a non-comprehensive list of things I'd like to see :

1- ADDISON AND AMELIA BEING THE DYNAMIC DUO THEY DEFINITELY ARE. I swear to god if they act like those two haven't talked in years or barely care for each other I will RIOT I will BURN whomever is in charge of characterization and continuity at the STAKE.

2- An iconic entrance. It's what she's always had and it's what she deserves. If she doesn't arrive in a helicopter and/or clad in Prada from head to toe looking like she'll make you kneel at her feet, is that even Addison Montgomery?

3- Absolutely zero meredith-grey-worshiper energy. I know blondie has been through some stuff and Addison is a very lovely, empathetic person, but she's written as one of the best surgeons in the world, and she doesn't have to prove anything to anyone. So it'd be nice to finally have someone refusing to suck up to meredith, and instead treat her like a normal person. (On that note, it would also be nice to find out Addison won like 3 harper averys (or however they're called now) since moving to LA or something.)

4- Addison and Bailey being best friends. Their scenes were always so iconic, I just feel like we deserve more, and Bailey deserves a good friend.

5- Mark Sloan mentions. It's unfair everyone seems to have forgotten he existed. And Addison hasn't been back since he died, so.

6- Interns and residents and why the fuck not attendings crushing on her and dying at her feet. Because, well, have you seen her? (Would pay good money to see that intern/resident who used to crush on meredith move on to Addison.) (Would pay even MORE money to see Teddy Altman forget all about Owen the minute she walks into the hospital.)

so. i currently have two addison/meredith wip's (a sort of one-shot and the beginning of a multi-chapter, where i FINALLY allow myself the pleasure of writing cristina yang and a ton of derek bashing <33), but i'm. sort of mad at meredith atm tbh, so they'll have to wait 🤷🏻‍♀️ i'm actually a bit bothered by that? because up until a few months ago i was 100% feeling that pairing, and now i'm just... not. i think i need to go back to the earlier seasons and see baby meredith again, because i cannot stand her atm <3

favourite amelia hairstyle : i'm a whore for long dark hair, so private practice era forever in my heart!! and s11, too.

favourite addison season : she was That Bitch and That Hot in grey's s3, and we also got to know her better, so i'd have to say that one. but also. s3 of pp, because of all the development and added layers to her character and the way kate's portrayal was just. brilliant. (i am not finished with pp and have only seen amelia's scenes in s4/5/6, so this is an incomplete answer)

favorite book : hhhhhhh the millennium trilogy probably? and also el aleph by borges
