headcanons about andy's hobbies

Cake decorating;Not many know about this hobby of Andy’s. This started when she was still in her teens, when she still called herself a tomboy and felt the need she had a title to uphold. She doesn’t put the ingredients together to make the cake or muffins or cookies, or even help bake. She hates baking and honestly, Andrea is so terrible at math that her mother has agreed to let the blonde stay out of the kitchen until she’s needed. Easter, Halloween and Christmas are her favourite times to decorate pastries.

Karaoke/Singing; The hobby of karaoke doesn’t happen often. In fact, it’s only happened twice times and she’s normally by herself. This usually happens when Andrea is so stressed that she can form sentences and can’t speak to anyone, so what better way then relieving a bit of stress than to spill out everything in a song? Andy isn’t half bad either, but she definitely shouldn’t quit her job. Depending on how much she’s had to drink, she could stay on stage for a solid twenty minutes. As for singing, it’s more of a hum. It’s an indication of her nerves, but you might be able to catch her singing as she’s cleaning the house.Puzzles;Andy. Loves. Puzzles. As of right now, there’s as two thousand piece puzzle in the corner of her room waiting for her for the restless nights she wakes up at two in the morning. Maybe it's an addiction Andrea has with obsessively spending valuable hours searching for the next move until that eureka moment when she finds it right in front of her. And this plays very much into her real life of being a journalist. For Andy, puzzles make sense, even when the rest of her life may not. Puzzles help calm her anxiety. They take so much focus that she can't be focusing on any other obsessive thoughts. They calm her and help her brain find order.

what do you like to do on a typical saturday?

“Typically? I work Saturday nights. Probably one of the busiest nights of the week after Fridays, but the tips are pretty solid, so I can’t complain too much.”

Yeah, a few times, but not in a derogatory way.

Not usually unless I’ve been drinking a lot.

My mom was my go-to person for the longest time. She got a little weird... distant, even--after I came out, but she was still always there for me. 

Daisy: How old were you when you had your first kiss?

I think I was eight or nine years old. It was pretty cute, though, it was with my not-so-secret admirer slash next door neighbor, Derek and happened in third grade on Valentine’s day.
