[Black + White: Day 37]: Thank you/ありがとう ------------ I was wondering which drawing I should put up on such a festive day...and then I thought of this one. Thank you. Sometimes it is not easy to express your thanks for people you really care about, or other occasions, you might have someone you give you a helping hand when you are in need. But if you ever have a chance to say your thanks, or express your appreciation, don't delay it, because you may just miss this opportunity forever. When I did my internship at the hospital wards, these thoughts grew stronger. Life can be fragile sometimes, and people can stop talking to one another due to many reasons (some can be very minor, but no one wanted to take the initiation to resolve the problem). I was glad that I took the initiation last week by inviting my uncles and parents over for X’mas lunch, where my hubby and I prep meals for them. Looking at the photos I took, they all aged a lot as we grow up, but it was nice to see them chatting together (which they had not been doing so for quite some time after our grand parents left us 10 years back). We had a major earthquake 25 years back at my hometown and I had always appreciated that if it wasn’t for my big uncle climbing into the house with a few of his friends, carrying my parents and grandparents out, we would have been orphans at a much earlier age. I am glad I did put a few things together. The reality which a medical professional face is tuff here. We talk about what needs to be done but due to many restraints we could never be perfect. Yet we try.
