i decided to pick up Reign and dang! I'm so hooked. I was never fond of period dramas, they bore me so much but Reign won me over. Though there are historical inaccuracy but then, changes are to be made to make the show entertaining and compelling such as the dresses which are very fabulous, by the way.

I FREAKING LOVE MARY. She doesn't let anyone push her over. She doesn't let herself be a damsel in distress. She uses her power as a queen very well, sometimes very selfishly but then that's how a royal should be. She knows where to position herself in times of crisis. She puts others sake over her. Even if her life is at risk or someone is affront of threatening her, her gracefulness and sophistication are still evident in her aura. I still have a lot to say but to keep it short, I just love her. And she's so gorgeous and her dresses. The actress is also growing a lot on me and the acting is spot on. It's so natural and I like the way she plays with her expression where a minimal movement of her eyes, lips and eyebrows already speak volumes.

And I have to admit, I'm totally buying the love triangle that the writers are selling. This is probably one of the love triangles where both ships actually have substance where a fan might ship both which I do. Though I'm with Sebastian mostly. I just adore the assurance he has over things, over himself and Mary. And he doesn't play by the rules and I like that. I like it when characters are being indifferent towards the environment or world that had been set. Which is also why I love Mary because so far. those royals such as the King and Queen of France and the illegitimate son of the King of Portugal, shown nothing but greed of power and dominance and selfishness. Even if they try to do a good deed, there's always an ulterior motive behind it.

I should have picked up the show since it aired but better late than never :)
