Darcy thanked the guy behind the counter with a smile and took the two bottle of sodas she got and then headed back to the register where Adelaide and her were both on shifts. It was relatively quiet at this point, barely anyone coming in to buy tickets, but both of them had a good chunk of their shifts left. There were coworkers where it would hace meant sitting around in silent and trying to pass the time without getting too bored, but with Adelaide, it was never like that, they always ended up talking about everything and anything.
"There you go," she said handing the bottle towards the other girl as she got back to their booth and then popped down onto her seat and took a sip from her own. "Do you think we will have some customers until the end of our shift, or this one will be yet another quiet night?"
