So I found myself in a Dewitt/Dominic mood tonight.
And of course the one fic I really wanted to read I couldn't for the life of me remember the name of...
::GRUMPY!!!::
Basically, Laurence Dominic finds himself having to work with Dewitt sometime after he manages to either escape or is released from the Attic.
The most significant thing I remember about this fic is a scene where Dominic without meaning to finds himself slipping back into his role as DeWitt's security. The pair are alerted to an oncoming threat to DeWitt's safety and Dominic suddenly on autopilot says something like, "Ma'am, we should get you to someplace more secure."
Does anyone remember this fic?
Seriously, I have a Huge Thing for old partners/colleagues/lovers unconsciously falling back into intimate (non-sexual) rhythms after long periods apart.

Topher and Adele's relationship is simultaneously heartbreaking and heartwarming.
Adele is a BADASS. Despite being the head of a morally ambiguous company, when her personal morals on murder, rape, etc are violated she stands up for those beliefs. She faces down murderers and rapists BY HERSELF with complete and utter directness and sarcasm. I love that woman.
AND ANOTHER THING adele dewitt and her skewed morals are everything to me i love her she is my wife and foxy as hell okay okay
Adele DeWitt gives me those gut churning fan girl feels.
