Adele Fendi, nacida en 1897 en Italia, Roma, y fallecida en la misma ciudad en 1977 a sus 80 años, fue una diseñadora de moda que desarrolló junto a su esposo, Edoardo Fendi, la marca homónima en 1925, en la capital italiana. Si bien el apellido Edoardo es el que encabeza la marca, la temprana muerte del italiano causó que Adele siga con el negocio años después.

Today is the greatest day...

Having been ill for the past four days, I finally got out into the wider world (outside my flat) today and went shopping.  Having half-frozen to death and had a lovely lunch on Carnaby Street, I didn't get much shopping done in my excitement to go and pick up a copy of IDOL, the magazine I've been working at.  Before Christmas, I interviewed Delfina Delettrez, great-granddaughter of the founding woman of Fendi, Adele Fendi.

To my delight, this has been published and my name is proudly sitting next to it on page 57, and in the masthead so I'm very proud of myself!

You should all go out and buy a copy of IDOL, it's got some exciting interviews and features in it; it's lovely and thick and shiny!  It's not just fashion, it's got lots of musicians and artists included too so nothing to be scared of!
