ADERIA / アデリア (@aderia_official)
[image: a digital art drawing of a twi’lek with green skin, a scar over her left eye, and green eyes. She is lean, and has prosthetic hands that are black metal and bony. She is wearing a red tunic, black cloak, and brown headdress. She is holding a lightsaber, smiling a bit angrily, and looking to the side where she’s pointing her saber. Her saber is yellow-ish greenish, and coming out of it is text that reads “Time to die”. underneaeth this image is a close up of her face. end image]
This image was saved as “Scary Aderia.”
anyway, I felt like drawing her because she looks a bit different than how she does in game (link). None of the female twilek face options really hit how I imagine her.
And her lightsaber says “time to die” on it because I felt like being fancy
:P
also, just a note for her character on ad’eria’s playthrough
she thinks harkun is foolish. she thinks that if he really hates her so much, he should be lulling her into a false sense of complacency rather than insulting her at every turn and making her know his opinion. she thinks he’s underestimating her, which she’s perfectly content with because she likes to be underestimated and keep her cards close to her chest or w/e the phrase is
comparison to my canon sith inquisi: nehari dissed harkun back at every turn and made it clear how much she hated him. she just viewed him as a petty asshole, but didn’t critique his strategy
[image: four screencaps of the same character from SWTOR. The character is a lean twilek with green eyes and green skin and no eyebrows. She has a scar over her left eye, but not one from an accident - it looks like a design. In the first screencap, we see her from mid-chest up,on a landing pad, looking around. the second screencap shows a close up of her face. the third and fourth screencaps show her outfit from the thights up - she’s wearing fancy red pands and a red tunic with gold trim, and has two prosthetic hands. end iamge]
Guess what time it is? New OC time?
anyway - Ad’eria. She’s a Sith Assassin, deception specialization. She’s not canon to my SWTOR time - she lived 300 years earlier - but I wanted to see her appearance + personality so I rolled her up.
Bonus: some dialogue so far
[image: dialogue from Inquisitor Arzanon reading “Intelligence reports indicate this valley shelters traitors -- acolytes whoe seek to destroy our Emperor’s carefully built order and replace it with their own weak-minded heresies.” end image]
two thoughts about this dialogue
1) i can’t remember whether I told tumblr this or just my brother, but I imagine this plot doesn’t actually have any traitors - the inquisitor’s goal is seeing who kills people with no proof, just because they were told to
2) this line amused me because in her canon, Ad’eria was all about the heresies
[image: dialogue from Inquisitor Zyn reading “It’s not my business to dispense justice, certainly not where the Dark Council is concerned.” Response from Ad’eria is “That makes a certain sense.” end image]
and here’s Ad’eria’s general morality - she didn’t torture the guy to get information out of him, and while the objection was partially moral, it was also practical - she wanted him to tell her because he thought it was the right thing and she would protect him, not to get her to stop, because she didn’t think he’d tell the truth if it was the latter - he’d say anything.
But despite putting on a friendly face, she also doesn’t help him becuase she is a cautious character who prefers to keep her head down until she knows she can win a fight.
Ad’eria was my first inquisi who didn’t insist on protection for the acolyte who witnessed a murder (I forget his name whoops :P)
Yeah, even though Nehari was dark side, she insisted on it - granted, mostly out of contrariness and hoping Zyn would realize how much of a coward he was being.
anyway, after that she got a letter from the murdered apprentices master. I wonder if he gets killed by Essor’s master when he tries to get revenge
“Inquisitor Zyn has informed me that it was you who uncovered Essor Kayin's hand in my apprentice's death. I suspected Essor--the fool has always been a nuisance--but I needed proof before acting. The acolyte's testimony will suffice.
As I am a man who settles his debts (a fact young Essor will soon learn), I'd like to extend my gratitude for your assistance in this matter. You've a sharp mind and a keen eye for details--no doubt you'd make a fine apprentice.
A pity another already has her eye on you.”
