Minerva’s nephew is their ring bearer. He’s the son of her sister, Eliza, who was the first Kennedy to marry and the first to have a child. Her nephew is barely two and he’s got a helping hand from Minerva’s youngest sister, Billie.

𝒲𝑒𝑒𝓀𝑒𝓃𝒹 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒢𝓇𝒶𝓎𝓈 → Day 6: Fair at Winbourne

Minerva’s intentions for the fair had been to collect gifts for her mother and siblings. Instead, she’d somehow wound up next to Adonis Demiurgos… again. He really had become her shadow, which was a bit frustrating as he’d seemed to become a different person or had decided to show her a completely different part of himself. And he was frustratingly helpful when suggesting gift ideas for her numerous siblings.

𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞…

Simon had decided to stay back at the house, and answer some correspondence while resting his elbow the best he can.

William was in search of paints as he’d been thinking about trying oil paint instead of charcoal.

Niamh was in search of gifts for her parents and enjoying the sweets.

𝒲𝑒𝑒𝓀𝑒𝓃𝒹 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒢𝓇𝒶𝓎𝓈 → Day 7: Masquerade Ball

Minerva’s mother had selected the dress for the masquerade, inspired by one that her great-grandmother would have worn during the regency era. And like clockwork, Minerva ran smack into Adonis Demiurgos who looked frustratingly good in his regency-inspired garb. He was also frustratingly charming and Minerva couldn’t place why he seemed so different, why everything was changing so damn quickly.

𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞…

William had slipped out of the crowded ballroom, standing on one of the terraces. It was cold and the snow had started to fall, with flakes sticking to his hair. Yet, it was still a respite from everything and a chance to keep his head clear.

Simon slipped through the crowds, holding conversations with the various lords and ladies and daughters that were in his path. He danced a few dances, mainly country dances, and snuck out fairly early that night, his elbow still in a lot pain.

Niamh hung on the outskirts of the crowds, in a sort of wallflower state that was one of her own choosing. She didn’t want to step on anyone’s toes, metaphorically and physically.

𝒲𝑒𝑒𝓀𝑒𝓃𝒹 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒢𝓇𝒶𝓎𝓈 → Day 8: Lunchtime & Goodbye

Simon left fairly early, with an apology to Miss Gray for not participating more in the events due to his injury. Prim had gently refuted the apology, with a subtle acknowledgement that injuries were different for Simon than they were most others.

William also left fairly early, offering a quick word of gratitude to Prim. They shook hands in a show of good faith, and William left after that.

Minerva left right after lunch, offering Miss Gray her gratitude and extending a word from her mother.

Niamh left shortly after lunch, hugging Prim and giving her gratitude.
