Grey. Grey. Grey.

Silver.

Grey.

White.

Violet arose to consciousness slowly, sifting through a mental state of fog and full of uprooted vines ready to trip him back to the abyss of sleep.

He would come to realize his surrounding’s to be painfully bright on eyes that had just come from darkness. And, by the time such an understanding had dawned on him, his eyes had already closed to protect themselves from the blinding luminescence.

Passing through his thoughts he wondered where he was, and why he couldn’t remember how he got there.

Perhaps he was dreaming.

He pinched his nose, trying to inhale through it.

He wasn’t dreaming.

His thoughts evolved, and he proceeded to wonder if there was a kitchen in the vicinity, or some other place he might prepare or attain food.

With such thoughts in his mind, coupled with the intention of satisfying his hunger, he sat up-- right before that thick fog engulfed him once more, bringing him back to imminent slumber. He fell to the pillow with a light thud as his frail figure hit the sheets.

@adevotedhealer The sun shone in through the blinds, shining in Neji's eyes. He blinked his eyes open slowly as he tightened his arms around the girl in front of him. Nuzzling his nose into her soft brown hair he mumbled, "Nyatta, it's time to wake up." She grumbled something he couldn't understand before she turned in his arms to face him, a bright, beautiful smile on her face. "Good morning Neji," she said softly, reaching up to cup his cheek gently. Neji leaned in to press a kiss to her forehead. "Good morning Nyatta." He saw the blush on her cheeks and chuckled. "Come on, a certain pretty lady needs to get to work." The Hyuga sat up, swinging his legs over the side of the bed as he yawned. As he was about to get up Nyatta draped herself over his back and pressed pressed a kiss you his shoulder. "You know you don't need to be up yet, right?" Neji tilted his head back to look at the girl, "I have to train early today, unfortunately. Gai-sensei has a strict regimen for me to work out my arm and shoulder." Nyatta frowned as she remembered his injury, she was glad though that she was able to help him make a full recovery. The Hyuga tapped her hand, "so let's go." She released him and climbed out of the bed as he stood up. They began to go about their morning routine, showering together to save time. When they were done the two shared a kiss before going on to face the day. Neji missed her already.
