I just want a nice witchy partner who will lay in the moonlight with me, dance around a bonfire with me, leave offerings for the spirits and gods in the forest with me, indulge my love of crystals and herbs, learn divination with me...
I legit have the most amazing community of like minded, spiritual, weird, funny people around me in ADF. That is all.

Honored Guests, Friends and Members of Columbia Protogrove, a most warming Imbolc to you all!
Columbia Protogrove entered 2016 with a very special guest, the current ADF Arch Druid Kirk Thomas, who led our very special Irish Celtic Imbolc ritual!
Kirk has inspired the hearts of so many of Columbia’s members, (and our rituals as well) so it was with very excited hearts that we could share his magic with our local Pagan Community!
Our Irish Imbolc was held on January 31st at 3:30 pm and our grand celebration included over 80 guests who were bold enough to endure the midwinter’s cold for this outdoor ritual. Despite the chill of January, the fires were strong and the group connection was stronger.
For this ritual we welcomed our Three Kindred, the Fire, Well and Tree, the Earth Goddess Danu, the Gate Keeper Manannán mac Lir, and our Goddess of the Occasion, the beloved fire goddess of Inspiration, Smith work, and Healing, Brigid.
Through inspired words, powerful meditations, the warmth of Brigid’s fire and holding the Brigid’s crosses that Kirk handmade for each of our guests, we stood united, in sacred community space, to encourage the budding spring. .
Mama Gaea, our Seer, took our omen from the Kindred and the Imbolc messages we received were:
Ancestors - Sharing Wisdom - 8 of Air. There is a circle of people talking, using a talking stick to make sure each person has their say and is listened to. In this time of disarray, we will hear the lessons our Ancestors have for us if we open ourselves and listen. Wait your turn and you will be heard as well.
Nature Spirits - Renewal - Death (R). Now is the time we are moving past the fallow period into a time of renewal. We've been concentrating on the dark part of ourselves these last few months. If we call on the energies of the Nature Spirits, they can lend us their breath of new life and help us start our renewal phase as well.
Gods and Goddesses - Releasing - 10 of Air. A flock of geese is flying overhead. They are leaving behind that which does not serve them and moving towards a brand new existence. Now is the time to release all that which holds you down. It is time to take those lessons we have learned from the Ancestors and Nature Spirits and grow and evolve.
We would like to extend a thank you again, to Arch Druid Kirk for leading this rite and fanning the spiritual fires within our own hearts. Another powerful thank you goes out to all of our wonderful guests who joined us this Imbolc, We could not do what we do without each and every one of you and it is an honor getting to know the amazingly diverse pagan individuals in our region. The heat of Imbolc will carry us into a most wonderful springtime indeed! We hope that you will join us for our next ritual, which will be honoring Hellenic gods and goddesses. This Spring Equinox rite will be celebrating the return of Kore and honoring Her mother Demeter!
From the members of Columbia Protogrove, we thank you.
