the trees you grew up with have not forgotten you. their branches still whisper your name in the breeze and their roots remember the paths your feet once traced through their shade.

Hey you
pick up litter as a devotional act. Grab a bag, gloves, and a podcast and hit the pavement. Get one of the grabby things (found at Dollar Tree!) to make it easier. Don’t worry what anyone else thinks, in reality they’re probably thinking “oh neat that persons cleaning up litter.” Help the animals. Help the nature spirits. Go pick up litter!
Okay, maybe it's time to come back :D
Because I have the fanart of Jaheira from BG3!
I make such small transformation animations with any characters and animals, so if you are interested, you can order one with your character. Just message me!

I don't know if I would consider myself to be an animist or not, but I absolutely adore feeling how alive everything is. Everything feels so distinctly alive to me, more than just "living," and I wish there was more adequate language to put these feelings into coherent words.
The heatwaves coming off the blacktop generated by the sun on a cloudless day. The smell of petrichor after it rains, decorating everything with shining droplets and leaving puddles for the birds to splash around in. The church bells that fills the valley with a song every few hours and echoes through the trees. All of those things possess a spirit of their own in some way.
To me spirits and life aren't just narrowed down to one thing. Not just one spirit per rock or tree or animal. A spirit can exist from a collection of natural occurrences, changes, and inhabitants which I can sometimes commune with through emotions rather than words. Maybe this is what some people mean when they refer to Spirit with the capital "S."
