regardless of the day, dan has gotten a habit of getting up at six am sharp. it was a tip that was given to him by his self-help book, scheduling his days to be relatively similar stopped him from feeling like his life was spiraling was out of control. but this morning was different -- he had a woman in his bed. not something he’s had in some time. and, she was admittedly kind of cute when she was grumpy, her bedhead and smeared makeup still present from the night before.
dan rolls himself off of the bed and lazily saunters across the room; clicking the off button. typically, this would get him up to start the day, but he had no need -- instead, turning back to slip under the covers with cereza, slipping his arms to wrap around her and pulling her in close. he hopes she doesn’t mind.
