honestly it's gotta be you, @adflorum. i always love seeing your hcs no matter what they are on the dash. sometimes they're funny and sometimes they're heartbreaking but i always make sure to pause and read whatever it may be that you've posted

@hesjustcarter absolutely deserves more recognition. the level of effort and energy they've put into their carter is incredible. they're thorough in ways that i wish that i could be in how they've developed him beyond what we've seen on screen.

@startold absolutely. i've realised as a writer that i pretty well suck at sci fi and sci fi muses which sucks for me because i do love the genre so much. however, hope manages to bring something out in me and it makes me want to try more and try harder to write sci fi muses or verses of substance.

@eclipsecrowned absolutely. i never know what to expect when they pop up on the dash. the polls they drop are always wild and honestly it's rare i fully understand what they all mean as i'm not fully across a lot of their muses, but it's always fun to see what's going to happen next as it's always fun and always a surprise for me

IT HAD BEEN A WHOLE WEEK OF AVOIDANCE — and she had even thought of asking Robby to switch her back to dayshift , but she loved her job too much . Instead she ducked away and took on as many cases as she could that she knew abbot would not have to instruct her .

It was her dirty secret now ( including drea ) and looking Abbot in the eyes was hard knowing that the mysterious voice in her airpods now held a face that was familiar and highly inappropriate . If HR only knew what she had said to Drea she was sure she would be let go . She dreaded anyone else knowing .

It was just a quick call after their last intubation . He had repeated the phrase — You just have to , ease it down just like that — and she was in trouble . She rushed into the lockers out of sight to call Andrea on her night off.

The door behind her shut , and she closed her eyes . Maybe the ground would swallow her whole . Maybe a mass casualty would keep her from turning around, because she had a horrible hunch who it was .

Caught , she turned slowly smiling sheepishly . The phone went dead .

that purple dress. [ @adflorum ]

no, it was not some satin purple button up nor was it a blazer jacket of the finest velvet. it was a dress, stopping right above the knees, providing modesty and sensuality all at the same time. hips defined as the fabric lay elegantly against the vampire’s frame and the color melting against his skin. it was this visual that proved daniel wrong about not having a favorite color. it was purple — and he saw armand in every object washed in various shades of purple.

he recalls the first time he saw armand in the dress vaguely. despite having figured most, if not all, of his scrambled memories they were still blurry, pixelated like a png that had not quite loaded in yet. armand walks out from inside the walk-in closet and into the bedroom. daniel only raises his head when he hears the soft clicking of low heels along wooden flooring come closer and a gentle hand is extended out to lift his chin up. eyes take in his maker in his entirety, wild and young again. hands hover over the small dip in armand’s waist hesitantly and vision begins to blur red. in that moment it was as if he had gone back in time to that night. the night in which we asked alice- no, not alice, armand to.. marry him? ( that was still an incomplete memory. he doubts he asked such a proposal. )

bottom lip quivers, nose sniffling. a deep breath in is enough to reel daniel back into the present. he removes his glasses from his face and at last wraps his arms loosely around armand’s middle, pulling him closer with a smile.
