Have 2 new bookcases so I can finally stop triple-stacking my books on other shelves + the floor, but this leads to a new problem

Trying to determine Optimal Shelving Location and also decide, within my genrefied main shelving system, which books go where because I use a highly technical system called Kayt Genres, understood as “if I was in the mood for Tamora Pierce but couldn’t actually read TP for some reason, which other books come close to scratching that itch?” and then spreading out from there

(For the record: Sharon Shinn’s fantasy series, and Rachel Hartman’s Seraphina duology go right next to Tamora Pierce’s books)

My sci-fi/fantasy piles. Not seen: graphic/comics, humor, mysteries, anthologies, non-fic, middle grade nostalgia, and 2 separate types of miscellaneous.

I have 2 hours before I need to sleep. Who wants to bet on how much I can actually get organized and shelved before then?

Why is doing laundry so unreasonably difficult??? All I have to do is take my basket of dirty clothes downstairs, bring it to the laundry room, put it in the washer with some soap, and there, done. Later there’s the dryer, but that’s easy too. 

I can cook a meal, clean the kitchen, vacuum, tidy the living room, clean the bathroom, no trouble. Why is doing laundry my fucking waterloo???
