Me on the surface after completing an assignment wrong and my teacher saying we can work on it tomorrow: Oh, okay, I understand.

Me on the inside: Shit, why can’t I do anything right? I tried my best to focus yesterday but it was really hard. And I thought I did do it right, but now I have to redo it and I’m so stupid, I should’ve paid attention. Why do I have to be so dumb? Isn’t this right, it looks okay? Is it because I zoned out? It is, isn’t it. I can’t tell her I did because she’ll get mad and hate me for forever. Why are my legs shaky? Why the hell am I crying?! Stop crying! I don’t want to though, but I do. Also, why do I have to learn about how to gather evidence that Netflix is the best streaming service?
