Santi's age? 👁 👁

OOOHHH he’s younger than Mira in months. whilst Mira is 20, he’s still 19. I haven’t decided on his birthday but this is the info i can share.

It’s like those stuff where he tries to flirt with Mira but she’s like kinda clueless and just goes “hey im older than you” and make fun of him. In their banters, he always loses with the famous, “respect your elders.” He would totally be flustered and pretend to be angry, as Mirabel is yk, a people pleaser, she misunderstood him sometimes and profusely apologizes.

They’re fun but also in some moments they’re soft. Just pure softness that makes your heart go badum badum, like the way your heart beats when you’ve drunk 7 cups of coffee in one sitting.

I just finished her dress last night and posted it on twt but havent got time to make her complete backstory. so for now, she is just a face with a dress.

In You're la llorena AU how dark is it going to be? like is it staying true to the main folktale of how she would drown children or is it the more lighter version where she kidnaps the children? Either way is good but I do think a kidnapping would be interesting.

My La Llorona AU of Encanto basically a mix of the drowning from the original folklore and some aspects of the Mama (2013) movie. So taking from that movie is the taking of the children’s trust and caring for them as she lost her child. While from the folklore there would be a lot of references to different versions of the story and also the drowning! I think the drowning is the main core of the folklore and the fic.

I’m really excited of what I can do with this AU and the Encanto universe, as there could be endless possibilities of torment and plot twists. I really love the plot twists I’m planning for the fic! Though I’m still on hiatus as I’m kind of drained from everything happening in my life, but I definitely won’t abandon the work. It is the greatest idea I have for a while. I genuinely love that you took time to ask me about it because I’ve been gushing about this AU. ILYSM OP. 🥹🫶

5 and 12 for the encanto ask!

5. Encanto pet peeves? Either canon or fic related.

I loathe the way people villainize the madrigals. they are very complex characters. I may bitch about Alma being a kinda “bitch” but she is more insensitive to what the family needs. She has the best intentions but executed them badly. I still love her to bits, and I love how she apologized. DO YALL KNOW HOW HARD IT IS FOR ADULTS TO APOLOGIZE TO A CHILD? Bc, it is. The amount of respect I have for her is immeasurable.

Next is Dolores, first of all, I blame this on Film Theory’s video. I do believe Mirabel did get annoyed or kinda mad at Dolores for blurting it out esp on an important dinner. But that is how cousin relationships work. Secondly, she is raised to tell whatever she heard that could harm anyone in the family or the miracle. She was also stressed and overwhelmed with everything that is happening right in front of her eyes. the villainizing is too much and I will definitely punch someone’s face if I hear anything about it.

Osvaldo. I mean he did bring a lot of trouble for the family. The real villain of the movie was never the generational trauma, but Osvaldo.

Hello! Hello! Welcome!

Max and Mira are medical besties! I fashioned their friendship with my friends on my pre-med journey!

They aren’t a thing, and is totally platonic with a romantic undertone and tension. This is probably why most people from their class ships them, but they’re really are just friends.

Max is very protective and understanding of Mirabel. He is usually the savior of Mira when she’s in societal danger like people crowding her and stuff. In a way like an older brother. He would always have the best intentions for Mira and execute it perfectly. He would always chose her.

He feels no romantic attraction, yet (👀). As I have said from his backstory, he still has something to prove and is putting his career first in his priority list.

As opposed to Santi’s, this relationship is just touchy and tender. They rely on each other as they are both far from their families. They give strength and comfort, something that they need. This feels like a cloud or a cotton candy, soft to the touch and will leave you touching it for a long time. Or it can be a hot chocolate on a rainy weather, warm, comfortable, and homey.

actually i have lots!

Adi’s Dream Travels:

Greece, bc yk ancient temples

Egypt, bc i am obsessed with their way of life during the time of the pharaohs and I LOVE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT MUMMIFICATION PROCESSES AND THE MUMMIES ITSELF.

Italy, bc Ezio Auditore and AC but the also the sceneries are beautiful esp on the countryside.

France, bc Catacombs! Have y’all seen the movie As Above, So Below (2014)? bc that fueled my need to travel there.

England, first of all, The 1975 is there. second, they have a lot of churches and museums that show a lot of umm death history? i mean they have a lot of history of things.

Indonesia. They have this festival where they bring their dead out from their house and I really think it is such an amazing culture to witness, and if I could, maybe ask them about it. ofc, i am a curious traveller but i am not disrespectful. if they deem it as disrespectful, i wouldn’t do it.

US but only for the museums like Mütter Museum and probably Universal Studios, Harry Potter World, and DisneyLand! hehe.

basically my trip would be visiting places people wouldn’t usually want to go to. :3
