day 2: late night snack

i'm posting this late lol but it's been sitting in my drafts so here we are! thank you so much to @forlorn-crows for organizing this & and thank you to @ghuleh-recs for the adorable dividers <3

pairing: primo x oc

(note: this is just a teeny bit spoilery for this pair's main fic - if you've been following along, consider yourself warned!)

Opening his eyes to bright light made him wince, blink a few times- Primo sat up in bed to find the source of it, rubbing his hands over his face and blinking some more until he realized that the light was spilling in from the kitchen doorway. Not that bright in actuality, but it made his eyes smart briefly all the same. He could have sworn he turned off the light before he came to bed just a few short hours ago… strange.

Stranger still was that Theo, he realized, wasn’t curled up sleeping next to him as she usually was at this hour. As the haze of sleep began to fade he was able to put two and two together. What in the world would she be doing awake so late- or early, rather- and in the fully-lit kitchen nonetheless?

He got out of bed to investigate, giving a little twisting stretch and then mindlessly adjusting the waistband of his pajama pants as he padded tiredly into the kitchen.

Adjusting to the bright light with a slight squint and another rub of his eyes, he could see that she was perched on the counter next to the fridge, sitting with her bare legs dangling. His eyes followed her manicured toes all the way up her smooth calves, her pretty thighs, to her cute little pajama shorts and that oversized tour shirt of his she loved to wear… to the way she was delving into a pint of ice cream. His ice cream, if his sleepy eyes did not deceive him. His favorite guilty pleasure- triple chocolate with the fudgy, delicious chunks of dark chocolate brownie dough and decadent chocolate syrup swirled throughout. She hadn’t noticed him, and she seemed awfully focused on what she was doing. He leaned carefully against the doorframe and crossed his arms over his bare chest, watching her swirl up a perfect spoonful and eat it slowly. The way she looked so serene in her enjoyment of it, eyes closing and a satisfied sigh leaving her nose, made it easy for him to forgive her for such a transgression- but he wouldn’t pass up an opportunity to tease her about it first.

“And just what do you think you are doing?” he said quietly, obviously laden with amusement. It startled her just the same- she jumped a little and her wide eyes met his, and she popped the spoon from her mouth.

“Satanas, you scared me,” she said and began to giggle to herself.

“That does not answer my question,” he continued. Her sweet little smile looked awfully guilty, he thought, but now she swirled the spoon pointedly in his direction.

“What does it look like I’m doing?”

“Eating my ice cream in the cover of night,” he accused.

“Oh, good,” she said, and she took another bite. The dark chocolate gathered and smudged in the corners of her lips. He thought he might like to kiss it off of her, until she spoke again. “Sounds like you don’t need glasses yet.”

He straightened up from the doorway and began to prowl towards her. “My,” he said, “you’re quite brave, sitting there eating my ice cream and harassing me like that.”

“You know you like it.”

When he made it to her and placed his hands squarely on her knees, she giggled again. “I’ll share if you want some.”

“Oh, will you now?” He couldn’t help but grin at her. What an ornery little thing she was. “So generous of you, dolcezza. Can I have a bite?”

“Mmm,” she hummed agreeably through her own mouthful, having swirled up another sweet bite and popped it into her mouth. Her pretty lips still curled with a smile as she gathered some more on the spoon for him. “Mm, here.”

The playful energy between them immediately started to soften as she fed it to him slowly. He hummed low in his throat at the rich taste and the chill of it on his tongue, and at her gentleness. For all her mischief and mouthiness, she certainly was sweet underneath.

“M’sorry I got into yours,” she said, more genuine now. “I was just craving something sweet, and we’re out of mine.”

“You know,” he said, smoothing his thumbs back and forth over the soft skin of her thighs, “if you want something sweet, you can always ask me.”

He raised his brow at her, but she knew exactly what he was insinuating without any help. To that she smiled and tilted her face up with a growing smile.

“Can I have it, Papa?”

Oh, he could never say no to her. Leaning in to kiss her, they melted together like warming ice cream, and her lips tasted even sweeter still.

me, a lesbian(?) who is also attracted to only fictional/unattainable men: I just think he’s neat and cool but also the daddy vibes being given off right now are 😗🤌 and I’m simultaneously questioning my sexuality/attraction to men while also thirsting hard over this man. it’s confusing.

You got that right for sure, sexuality is confusing. And I think most people, regardless of sexuality label, have a few people they'd fuck regardless of if that persons identity fits into what they typically are attracted to. A hall pass of sorts but for sexuality? Chris Evans is a good example, so many straight dudes are like, oh, yeah, if Evans wanted me... I would not say no. Ryan Reynolds is a good example of a guy straight men go gay for haha. Either way, some people are too goddamn irresistible lol. That and, hey, humans are weird anyway. We make up little boxes for ourselves all the time to fit our emotions and what we feel like makes us up inside but all of that can change! Do what you like, use your words how you wanna use them!

The only thing that will remain constant is confusion, perhaps not about sexuality, perhaps about taxes or what the meaning of life is or something else instead haha.
