In April of this year, I came across a man without a home on the streets of Northampton. A wheelchair-bound former carpenter who went bankrupt after loosing mobility. One sign around his neck read "Random acts of kindness welcome.” Another lay by his feet.
I started for him, wishing at least to satisfy his hunger
