Teddy Tonk’s Terrace Treats: A Tedromeda Flower Shop AU

For Ted Tonks, opening up a flower shop with his best friends has to be pretty much the dream. When Edgar and Ted graduated from college with their business degree, it all seemed to fall into their laps. Teaming up with Mary and Lily to run their cafe out of the flower shop had to have been a stroke of genius. Amelia’s willingness to do their books was surely a sign from the gods. And ever since Eleanor Mabel, a local college student, came on part time, Teddy Tonk’s Terrace Treats has felt like a little family all their own - and its financial success hasn’t hurt too much either.

For one Andromeda Black, however, life has been very different. One of the heiresses to Rose is the New Black, a multi-million dollar flower empire, she’s never had to know the difference between a tulip and a tithonia. For her family, life couldn’t be better. Andromeda’s recent engagement to Rabastan Lestrange - of Lestrange’s Garden and Gifts - has helped lock in the business merger of the century. In preparation for this new era of of financial success, Andromeda has been sent into the growing city of Hogsmeade to take care of the competition before they open.

The competition, unfortunately, doesn’t seem to want to cooperate. Teddy Tonk’s Terrace Treats may not be able to outdo a powerhouse like Rose is the New Black, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to come quietly. So far no offer of financial compensation or PowerPoint presentation on their situation has swayed the intrepid little shop. Andromeda’s running out of time to change their minds, and if she doesn’t do so soon then the family’s company will come in - despite the damage they might do to the people Andromeda’s only just getting to know.

The only problem is that Andromeda’s not so sure she’s doing the right thing anymore. The clock is ticking down for Andromeda to find a way to help everyone involved. She knows her family won’t be happy, but she’s fairly sure they’ll be even less happy if they knew about all those late nights spent talking with one Ted Tonks.
