                eight because ren said “theres a spider” and he was too lazy to get out of bed , threw a slipper at it and it died

               i think that when eight proposes ren doesn’t give an answer immediately until like 6 months later and eight was like “huh? huh? oh. OHH!!!!” and then they have like . a tiny wedding . like very small and casual just in stark difference to the sheer amount of wealth the two have and it’s mainly ren’s family / jun because eight doesn’t have a lot of living relatives left . a few close friends are invited but it’s a small intimate get together because eight doesn’t want anything super big

                  ren . eight’s not the type to be jealous but sometimes ppl will hit on eight / eye him up and he just : brain empty why you looking at me like that and ren is just why are you looking at My man like that SDFGHJK

                   eight . his office is like . . . . two blocks away from his house come on dawg

                    eight sends more cryptic texts that make ren contemplate things while ren sends more straight forward things

                      most would think eight just bc of how old he is / how long he’s been alive but ren’s his only / first romantic relationship bc he’s avoided most relationships because of his circumstances . so ren .

010.   .   .   .  said i love you first

                  eight and it was out of the blue . it took ren a little longer to say it but he wasn’t angry abt it or expected her to say it right after — it was just more over something he needed to get off his chest

                      ❛   tea  ,  ❜  is  the  only  explanation  offered  up  towards  other  ,  GENTLE  TONE  with  blank  expression  ;  sets  tacky  mug  decorated  with  a  university  logo  down  in  front  of  her  ,  as  he  takes  another  seat  across  from  her  ,  setting  his  own  tacky  mug  down  .  there’s  still  ring  marks  from  the  times  past  :  where  it  was  ren  yelling  at  eight  to  use  a  coaster  ,  or  maybe  it  was  the  other  way  around  —  or  the  red  wine  spill  from  new  year’s  eve  because  he  REFUSED  to  drink  champagne  ,  and  could  not  scrub  it  out  in  his  own  wine  -  drunken  haze  .  it’s  an  odd  feeling  that  sparks  up  in  his  chest  ,  something  so  mundane  ,  so  easy  to  get  comfortable  with  :  a  small  kindness  ,  gold  spotting  across  the  night  sky  kind  of  deal  ,  for  a  moment  ,  it  almost  feels  wrong  .  

                       but  he  knows  it’s  not  .  it  can’t  be  .   ❛   you’re  brooding  ...  again  .  so  drink  it  .  ❜  and  tell  me  what’s  wrong  seems  to  be  implied  ,  but  it’s  never  spoken  aloud  ,  so  instead  ,  fills  the  silence  with  using  butter  knife  to  stir  the  coffee  creamer  into  his  coffee  .   ❛   ...  or  don’t  .  it’s  your  prerogative  .  ❜
