Humming a melody to yourself, you stroked Nora's fur gently as you flipped through the pages of the book.

Today was a day off from work, so you decided to just laze around in the house all day while you wait for your boyfriend to get back from his job.

It's been three years since you and Jaebum started dating, and everything has been going smoothly since then. There were seldom any arguments, and if there was, it doesn't usually last for a day. Overall, life is going great for the both of you.

Reminiscing and staring into space, the book and the cat long forgotten, you didn't noticed someone had entered the living room.

A soft click snapped you out of your reverie. You whipped your head towards the source of the sound, to find Jaebum leaning against the wall, with his camera pointed towards you.

"Jaebum!" You exclaimed, grabbing a pillow to cover your face, clearly embarrassed. A muffled chuckle reached your ears, and you felt arms wrap themselves around you, "Hello, you're looking as beautiful as ever." he whispered beside your ear, causing shivers to go down your spine.

Finally removing your face from the pillow, you turned to face him, pouting, "Your compliments can't make me forgive you for taking a picture of me." you huffed, crossing your arms over your chest and feigned annoyance.

Having a freelance photographer as a boyfriend is great and all, but it usually has its cons, especially to a camera shy person like yourself. The amount of times Jaebum has taken candid shots of you were unimaginable, you can't even count how many times you had to beg him to delete it.

He just placed a chaste kiss on your cheek and chuckled again, clearly amused by your embarrassment, "Why not? You really are beautiful, I mean it." he stared at you, his sincerity shining through his eyes.

Your heart fluttered from the way he gazes at you, so you just buried your head in the pillow, "Jaebum!" you whined, feeling blood rush to your face.

You must be looking like a tomato right now.

You heard him laugh once again. That prick, you fumed. He really enjoys teasing you like this.

Jaebum stared at your curled up figure, clearly seeing your red ears, and internally snickered to himself, before grabbing you by the waist and putting you on his lap, making you lean your head on his shoulder as he gently strokes your hair.

He breathed in your scent, a scent that he adores and misses so much, and kissed the top of your head lovingly.

He was so lucky to have you.

"You know, [Y/N]," he started. He knows you're listening, "I've never really said this to you before, but I'd take the chance to see you in person everyday rather than in photographs. You're even more breathtaking in the flesh than in paper."

You lightly smacked his chest, heat coming back to your face, "Oh my God Jaebum stop being so cheesy!" you yelled as you tried your best to hide your blushing face from him, his laughter echoing throughout the living room.

He grabbed your shoulders to make you look at him, and you nearly forgot how to breathe. His eyes were focused on you, and his stare is so intense you were thankful you were sitting, or else your knees would've buckled by now. He looked at you for a moment before kissing you sweetly on the lips, "I love you, [Y/N]." he mumbled.

You huffed, smiling at his gestures of affection.
