[SPOTLIGHT WEEKEND] JOAN FOSTER ROMORA

heeeeey i'm posting this last minute 8ecause i wasn't home all day ahahahaa. ahahaha. ha. ha ha. gr8

alright well this is an exposé on our good friend  joan foster romora

i felt that anri had too much attention on them so i decided for my first ever oc, who just started out as a self-insert and grew into so  much more. all the info under the cut

Joan grew up in a traveling circus. She was born and raised there. Not everyone was related to her, but they were all definitely her family. Because they traveled a lot, her parents wanted to make sure she was educated and not have the stress of moving schools, they hired home tutors. Joan excelled in main subjects like science, math, reading, and history, but only really liked science. She didn't care much for schooling, but she loved art, music, and the little taste of video games when she played with the other kids visiting the circus.

In a circus, she grew up with a lot of pressure placed on her. Keep up with school, look pretty, make it look easy but make it look incredible, train train train, put grace and bravado in your performances. In the circus, she was one of the child trapeze artists and walked the tightrope.  Unable to cope with all this pressure, after practice, she saved up money and went to buy spray paints. Joan wanted to vent, but she was trained for grace and bravado, so she went to local alleys and sidewalks and fences to graffiti murals on the walls. They weren't special, but they used a wide variety of colours and helped her let out bottled up feelings. Her circus name was Vivace, because her performances were always planned to be flashy, extravagant, exceeding expectations, so she signed her works with a small, cursive "Vivi" in the corner as a signature. 

She became known as a tagger in whispers in the tagger communities where the circus went and when she revisited towns, she was sad to find more public works painted over. So, she tagged more, and more. Of course, this is illegal, so she was caught one day before a show when she had a lot of built-up tension. She was taken to the police station, and her family had to pay for property damages. Joan never saw it as vandalism, but art. Her hands and arms and face were still stained with different colours of paint.

Her mother decided that enough was enough, so she was admitted into Hope Falls Academy for Delinquents.

FUN FACTS ABOUT OUR FRIEND JOAN:

Her favourite colour is navy blue, and all her costumes came in cold colours with sequins and sparkles because she loved them.

Her best friends are Callie Casteris, Avery Stark, Sean Mortimer, and Clarisse Stellé, otherwise known as the "No-Homosapiens" among students.

Callie Casteris is her girlfriend.

She loves video games and grew enthusiastic in Art class and Science class.

She is an introvert.

She distances herself from her past in the circus, even though she loves her family very much.

She loves pranking people and telling jokes.

Once found a used condom in the garbage in Behavioural Class.

Always sits by the wall in class, because it makes her feel safe

She's a total neat freak and needs things done like organization, washing clothes, and getting ready in the morning in certain ways. She has problems trusting other people to carry out things like assignments or chores.

She's pansexual.

She has an anxiety disorder called panic disorder, and takes ten milligrams of Lexapro once every day. She has bad memory, so sometimes she forgets to take her medicine. 

I put it way too many bullets.

Random OC Fun Fact of the Day

Anri A8endroth had initially started dealing instead of doing drugs to provide for their family, however, due to their curious, impulsive nature, they had become quickly addicted and soon harmed their family's income rather than helping. Their prime focus was on cigarettes, and, as it is hard to get those at age fourteen, they dealt those as well.

Now, two years later, mostly due to their sister enrolling them into Hope Falls Academy (virtually forcing them to quit cold turkey-style), Anri is almost completely off drugs however still smokes and eats when they have cravings.

[ANNOUNCEMENT] ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Good afternoon, everyone!

We would just like to announce that, as of today, April 27, it has been one full year of passing since the Hope Falls Academy for Delinquents room has been created.

To commemorate our glorious anniversary, will we be supplying a motherfucking myriad of screenshots from our roleplay today, which takes place in the cafeteria, the setting of our first roleplay. Also, the Rose Ball is under discussion, so don't be surprised if someone mentions the lines "Kiss Kiss, Fall In Love."

Of course, we really appreciate everyone following this blog and your support. It means a lot to us, and, as a group of friends, one year is a pretty big deal. One year will probably mean we will babysit each other's kids. That's really cool.

8ETA FRIDAY: each friday, an admin will pick a character to discuss [has to 8e theirs] and ela8or8 on their early "8eta" days; its initial idea/look, or 8efore its full development.

8EHIND THE SCENES: a totally unscheduled segment regarding the slips and overall fun 8etween the admins of hope falls academy, along with descriptions and introductions of/a8out the people pulling the strings.
