Atarashi Michi Academy
ACADEMY INFORMATION
The tragedy of Hope's Peak Academy or Hope's Peak Academy's biggest, most awful event in history, followed by world wide event of Tragedy. Everyone remembers how horrible it was to feel in such despairing times. It's been fifth teen years since the complete physical recovery of those gruesome occurrences. Great hope began to flourish as a young woman named Hoshiko Akamatsu, formally known as Mrs. Akamatsu, twin sister of Kaede Akamatsu, one of the millions of causalities in the Tragedy, built Atarashi Michi Academy, A.M.A, New Path Academy.
Thanks to the aid of the Future Foundation and it's allies, Hoshiko was able to raise enough funds to assemble all the tools she needed to birth the future path for talented individual's. The new academy was built on top of Hope's Peak's ruins.
A perfect high school for those talented children in 20XX. Those granted access to attend the academy were of all different nationalities, personalities, backgrounds, talents, etc. Atarashi Academy was the perfect place to attend, and it is still actively receiving applications for enrollment today. After graduation the students that attend, grow into young adults going into successful careers and hope filled futures.
The story begins at the grant opening ceremony of Atarashi Mishi Academy, the principle herself greeting the new and current students.
EXTRA INFORMATION
≫ This story is set in an alternate timeline of the V3 Universe. As such, the V3 characters in the game don't exist in this timeline, familiar names will be referenced but overall they will be NPCs at most. Mainly with the referencing of the principle.
≫ No one knows for sure, but theories say Junko Enoshima was merely a mask, the face for despair, the actual person that started the Tragedy and brought down Hopes Peak Academy is unknown. Junko is now used as a mascot for fear. You can usually find mass murderers leaving symbols that relate to her glory, or people in mental institutions muttering her name over and over again.
≫ The Tragedy refers to the actions of a student who rebelled against the school by rallying angry reserve course students against the Ultimate's. Students and staff were murdered in cold blood, and the despair of the killings spread throughout the world via broadcasting. The killing games started and Hopes Peak eventually crumbled to ruins.
≫ Future Foundation was developed in order to stop the despair and capture the person responsible for the Tragedy. It nearly collapsed on itself towards the end of the Tragedy, but thanks to Akamatsu, Iidabashi, and multiple other related figures to those forced into the killing game known famously as V3, stood up and greatly helped the organization back to it's former glory.
≫ Professor Iidabashi, a robotics engineer knew for the creation K1-B0, greatly aided Hoshiko Akamatsu with the academy. He also helped reform the Future Foundation into a government organization that supports Atarashi Michi Academy.
DEPARTMENT SYSTEM
Atarashi Michi Academy is one of the largest high school campus's in Japan. When applying to the academy, the students must choose which major their talent fits best in.
Athletic Students ⇒ For students specializing in activates that require physical movement. ( EX: gymnastic, foot ball player, martial arts, etc. )
Professional Students ⇒ For students specializing in any type of technical, science, business, or medical related careers. ( EX: doctors, business, scientists, etc. )
Artistry Students ⇒ For students specializing in creation or development of products or themselves. Things made for others enjoyment or entertainment. ( EX: musicians, singers, artists, inventors, etc )
Personal Occupation Students ⇒ For students with more laid back talents or for the ones that aren't applicable with the other courses. ( EX: princess, gamer, religion, lucky, etc. )
♢ Students from different majors could most likely be grouped together in classes.
♢ People without talents can be accepted into the academy but aren't given the title as ultimate. They will share the same classes as ultimate's, and are allowed to roam on which ever major they want. They are assigned a major but are still allowed to join in on other department activities. The academy treats the talentless students as lost wonderers that have yet to find their true potential talent.
♢ Ultimate students are assigned their department depending on the talent they have, Non-ultimate students can choose which major they would like to enroll in; to explore their interest in that field of work.
STUDENT COUNCIL
The academy is heavily influenced by the decisions and workings of the Atarshi Michi student council. The group is represented of a Daffodil, the flower of hope for the future. Their golden crests/brooches help other students know that they are people with great authority. These students were hand picked by the principle, Hoshiko Akamatsu, herself. Anything the council members say goes, goes. They have grown to a higher power throughout the years, and have more say in school happenings then the actual staff members.
All student council members will be played by of staff members, in addition they will act like role play moderators, to make sure the students stay in line.

Guidelines
OC GUIDELINES
【 1 】 You are allowed to make your character any gender, sexuality, race, color, etc.
【 2 】 If you make your character have some sort of disability, mental disorder, etc. We advise that you research it fully. When you make in introduction for your character, you must include a detailed description of what the complete definition of the disorder/disability is. We also advise when researching the subject you check multiple websites to make sure your analysis on it is correct. If you falsely describe or roleplay these disorders, you will be immediately contacted.
【 3 】 Please do not make it so that your character has traits that could offend others, for example: racist, homophobic tendencies, etc.
【 4 】 No Mary Sues! We will not allow all powerful characters, they must have their own weaknesses and faults. This makes the character realistic in multiple ways.
【 5 】 For now, you are only allowed to apply one character per Department in School Mode, along with one character per MKG, applying up to 3 only. If in the future we plan to hold more MKGs we suggest submitting a completely new characters for the new game.
【 6 】 Face claims and voice claims aren't allowed, Doll makers are acceptable though!
TALENT GUIDELINES
【 1 】 We frown upon the re-use of canon game talents. If you have trouble coming up with a talent for your character we suggest addressing one of the staff members for help.
【 2 】 If the talent is already taken on a list in #school-mode-information then it can not be re-used by anyone else. MKG applications are different, multiple people can enter the same talent, but only one will be chosen.
【 3 】 Ultimate ??? is only allowed in the MKG.
【 4 】 Talents like these aren't allowed:
♢ Brother / Sister Complex
♢ Minecraft Map Designer, Beyblade Master, Pokémon Master, etc.
♢ Mental illness based ( EX: sociopath, dual personalities )
♢ Killing multiple people ( EX: Serial Killer )
♢ Overpowered talents ( EX: Mastermind, ultimate )
【 5 】 Talent can't violate any of the categories listed in the triggers channel. If you think your talent is on the fence with a trigger, we suggest coming to an admin to discuss the matter.

ROLE PLAY RULES
【 1 】 Role playing in this server:
♢ No script style roleplaying ( paragraph style rp is allowed )
♢ Correct punctuation and Grammar: Proper use of capitalism, periods, commas, etc.
♢ Third person narrative.
♢ Juice it out! More than a three sentence reply. This role play is for literates, so let's try to make our replies super in depth and enjoyable to read!
Example: "Hello, my name is Danny Devito!" She politely introduced herself, smiling brightly.
【 2 】 Shipping. Please remember that shipping requires mutual consent. Don’t force a ship onto someone.
♢ No pedophilic or incestuous ships.
♢ No shipping between minor and adult characters. Only exception would be if the age difference is 17 and 18, or such.
♢ Be aware that adults might feel uncomfortable having their characters shipped with a character who is owned by a minor, or vice versa. We don't want people feeling uncomfortable, so please refrain from shipping adult and minor user's characters together, unless both parties have consented to the idea.
【 3 】 No killing or controlling of other characters, if you wish for your character to engage in a fight please speak with whom it is you wish to fight; all battle outcomes will be decided by our staff.
【 4 】 Please ask permission before entering into a roleplay. It is very polite to ask the other party if you can join, but please be respectful if they refuse.
【 5 】 Any form of inappropriate/NSFW related acts, such as:

Update
Yesterday our role plays official plot began, it was extremely hilarious and I’m not even talking about the rp when I say that. Our staff pulled through with approving last minute applications and updating our participants list. As of now we have 50+ members in our server, a majority of them with passed characters.
Admin James has decided to cut all our promotion links off as of now. Since the server has gotten so big. And I completely agree with him, so as of now, all the links I’ve sent out for the role play will be cut off.
But, I do not wish to completely neglect those that follow this page, so I will continue to update this blog with information.
Currently our staff is working on the implementation of Villians. For applications we are creating a google document. But we are extremely strict on our villians due to the fact that they will play a big part in the plot, meaning they can’t just do as they please(like break into the school or kill students at random). Once we’re finished with the document we will publish it publicly, in the server and on this tumblr account, and allow anyone to apply, but, the chances of getting accepted aren’t high, like I said we are strict about the matter. More information regarding villians will be posted at a later date so stay tuned!!!

Here’s just a quick run down of how the roleplay and server flow is gonna go. Currently there are three sections you can apply to role play in.
School Mode
MKG Mutual Killing Game
Talent Swap
Our main roleplay will be focused on School Mode, since we are relying on our plot to make the roleplay make since we would need to get going with the School Mode roleplay to get into the MKG.
The MKG will be a series based off of the events and happenings caused by School Mode. Like how Hopes Peak was the base for all the Danganronpa Killing Games. We will not open this section until the role play for the School Mode has begun.
Talent Swaps will work like events. When we decide to host group events we will make it in the form of a talent swap, as a way to give the role play a spice! We will also allow side channels for any free open roleplaying you wish to do.
