Guys, this blog is over a year old!

Gotham Rogues, Can they take a punch?
The Joker: This man is a punching bag you can hit him as many times as you want he'll laugh while coughing up blood with no concern for his own well being
The Riddler: He really can't take more than a couple hits, but he's more insulted at being punched than actually in pain. He is a baby about stubbed toes and papercuts though
Two-Face: His pain management is pretty moderate, he can give as good as he gets in a fight usually
The Penguin: He does better in a fight than you'd expect, he's trained in different types of hand to hand combat. He gets very snappy when in pain
Catwoman: Selina isn't much for a fair fight, she'd rather avoid getting hit. She can deal with pain well however being able to think logically through it
Bane: It takes a lot to take this man down, his pain tolerance is extremely high
Killer Croc: Not much can get past his scales to hurt him, but if something does genuinely hurt him it just gets him angry
Poison Ivy: She can shake of most physical pain to herself, but if you really want to hurt her you have to hurt her babies instead
Scarecrow: Jonathan is not a fighter, he uses his fear toxin for a reason. He's a one punch knock out and will beg not to be hit.
Mister Freeze: He can take a punch and pain doesn't bother him much, but if he knows he's outmatched he might give up knowing its not worth fighting back
The Mad Hatter: Please don't hit Jervis, he can't take a punch and will probably cry
Harley Quinn: She has a high pain tolerance and can give as good as she gets in a fight, but she will complain loudly in annoyance when she's hurt
Victor Zsasz: Pain is not real, he won't let it keep him from his purpose
WHAT'S UP I'M STILL ALIVE LET'S GET ACTIVE AGAIN
Its been a fun two years... Technically
Hi guys admin jack here:3 As some of you know I announced a few months back that i am back from my hiatus and posted some requests then disappeared again. Ok i'm gonna explain that now. For the past few months, i have been buried under a shit ton of school work given to me by our professors so i wasn't able to write much and i realized that with all of the things i am doing, i probably wont be able to update here. On top of that, i recently got into cosplay and is active in the community in the Philippines (shoutout to ya'll). Lastly, as weak as it sounds, its getting hard for me to think up stories per request and i dont want to keep disappointing you guys because i dont update anymore. So i decided of leaving this account to you guys. I will not deactivate this account so if you guys still want to see the stuff i made, it will still be available to you. I will not quit writing altogether tho, since writing stories became an outlet for me when things go bad, so i'll be more active in my other account (jikenn.tumblr.com), i will be posting there my other stuff, can be fics, original stories, cosplay... Anything really, so if you guys want to still talk, i'll be there. Thank you guys, it has been a fun two years (two and a half because i disappeared in the last half 😅)
My mom put on a 40s playlist this morning and Moonlight Serenade just played, immediately followed by In the Mood. I feel like that was an excellent way to send off The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances anniversary celebration. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this celebration such a success. Please feel free to keep submitting work related to the prompts! Lots of love, Admin Jack
The Rogues Gallery, Character Tropes
Since we had an ask about what the Rogues favorite character tropes are, we also made a list for what character trope we both accociate most with them! :)
The Joker: From Nobody to Nightmare
The Riddler: Attention Whore
Two-Face: Doomed by Cannon
The Penguin: Wicked but Cultured
Catwoman: You're Better Than You Think You Are
Bane: Rated M for Manly
Killer Croc: I Just Want To Be Normal
Poison Ivy: Woman Scorned
Scarecrow: Nightmare Fetishist
Mister Freeze: The Lost Lenore
The Mad Hatter: Rhymes on a Dime
Harley Quinn: Ascended Fangirl
Victor Zsasz: Human Notepad
The Rogues Gallery, Hogwarts Houses
The Joker: Ravenclaw! The Joker does have a pretty even mix of Ravenclaw and Slytherin traits, but I think the creativity, wit, and theater would be what he would value making him more a Ravenclaw
The Riddler: Ravenclaw! Sometimes the most obvious choice is the right one, Edward would definitely be a Ravenclaw and probably the stereotypical know-it-all that everyone thinks of them as
Two-Face: Hufflepuff! Harvey had to be dedicated and hardworking to become the youngest district attorney of Gotham ever, I'm sure he'd consider himself fair of play aswell
The Penguin: Slytherin! Resoursful, cunning, and ambitious all fit him. His willingness to go straight and even become an informant for The Bat show his knack for self preservation.
Catwoman: Gryffindor! Selina has some traits of a Slytherin, but her protection of the East end and compassion for helping others tips her to Gryffindor
Bane: Gryffindor! What nerve and daring he has! He lives by a code and at least thinks he's doing good and is in the right
Killer Croc: Hufflepuff! Despite being cast out of normal society and treated like a monster he desperately wants to belong and when someone is friendly to him or needs his help he will always make it his priority to respond in kind
Poison Ivy: Slytherin! She has daring and nerve like a Gryffindor but she's resourful and cunning and believes in pushing her cause by any means necessary
Scarecrow: Ravenclaw! Jonathan does half of what he does as experimentation for his research, pushing himself to learn and create
Mister Freeze: Hufflepuff! He works himself to the bone never ceasing in his dedication to Nora
The Mad Hatter: Hufflepuff! Jervis is a difficult one, he's Intelligent and creative and as well as cunning and resoursful, but the traits that define him the most are things like kindness, loyalty, and dedication
Harley Quinn: Slytherin! Harley is I similar conundrum. She's got nerve and bravery aswell as kindness and loyalty, but she is a lot smarter than she usually let's on. She keeps part of her real personality tucked away and puts up a ditzy victim front. She's really very resoursful and cunning determined to steer things her way
Victor Zsasz: Hufflepuff! This one sounds surprising but if you look at Hufflepuff traits such as dedication, patience, toil, compassion - it fits. After all he does think he's "saving" his victims by killing them
Favorite animated movie for all the Rogues
The Joker: Fantastic Mr. Fox, I think he’d really enjoy the comedy in it and the fighting the man sort of idea
The Riddler: Coraline, Edward would love the mystery and puzzles in it, he’d probably be in front of the screen cheering Coraline on
Two-Face: Zootopia, this one was difficult because I imagine him mostly liking deeper or more serious movies, but I think he’d like the political corruption plot and who doesn’t love buddy cops
The Penguin: Happy Feet, Oswald thought the animation of the penguin was so good and at the end he was inspired to donate a ton of his money to charity helping the birds
Catwoman: Aristocats, I know it’s cliche and she does have others she likes, but it’s cut, has cats, and she used to watch it with both Maggie and Holly when they were kids do sentimental value too
Bane: Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarran, It’s simple, artful, and has a strong messege about humanity and freedom
Killer Croc: The Hunchback of Notre Dame, as an outcast from society who suffered many years under his awful auntie the story really gets to him
Poison Ivy: Fern Gully, you know shes a sucker for an anti-pollution and deforestation message
Scarecrow: Nine, it’s creepy, deals with pieces of the human psyche/soul and fear
Mister Freeze: Up, He cries though the entire movie and is inconsolable, but he watches it anyway
The Mad Hatter: Alice in Wonderland, this one’s just obvious
Harley Quinn: Inside Out, she’s a psychologist so she loves the whole story and the lesson about accepting and feeling your emotions in a healthy way, she also thinks Joy is the cutest thing!
Victor Zsasz: The Little Prince, He really likes the philosophy of it but takes it a bit too far….
