HELLO!! Could I maybe ask for a scenario where Asahi is being saved by his crush from something, so he ends up confessing to them?? Make it as angsty as you like ^.^ I also need to say that YOUR BLOG GIVES ME LIFE GUYSSS OMG
“Hey, bud. Where the fuckdo you think you’re going?”
Asahi is used to being mistaken for some guy in a gang. Heknows that his built figure, stubble beard, sideburns and man-bun don’t helphis reputation in the slightest. He’s used to walking to volleyball games andhaving competitors turn towards him, skeptical and nervous glances, and turningaway to whisper about how he failed high school five times or was caughtselling drugs behind the gym. He really, really is.
What he isn’t usedto, however, is being upright confronted by yakuza members about some ‘trade’he had never so much as heard about.
“Um… I think you’ve got the wrong idea,” Asahi saysnervously, putting up his hands defensively. “I don’t know what you’re talkingabout. I think you’re looking for someone else? Look, I don’t want to cause anytrou—”
Asahi’s weak explanation was cut off with a swift punch tohis stomach, causing him to keel over. The man in front of him roughly grabbedhim by his collar, pulled him up and shoved him roughly against the wall, butit’s not until he reaches into a pocket and pulls out an easily concealablepocket knife and traces Asahi’s neck with it, prodding lightly on his Adam’sapple, before Asahi truly begins to freak out.
“I’m sick and tired of your bullshit excuses. Tell us where you guys put the shit at, or the trade’soff.” The man explains gruffly, applying just a tad more pressure for Asahi toreally start to feel the blade’s edge.
Then he hears the voice of an angel, but it unexpectedlycomes in the form of a shrill scream and loud shouting, as he hears, “Police! I told you they were over here!Come, hurry!”
He turns to see you—his crush, his salvation, the angel that had just saved his life—just as the man roughly lets go ofhim, and the criminal gestures to his friends before they flee towards theopposite side of the alleyway. Asahi collapses against the wall, half out offear and half out of relief, and you rush to him.
“You—oh my god, Asahi, are you okay?” You ask, pulling outyour phone to tell the coach and the others that Asahi was alright, and to fillthem in on what had just happened.
“Yeah… yeah, somehow.” Asahi says, recovering slightly andsitting up a little. He’s still breathing heavily, and you can’t exactly blamehim. “You… oh my god, that was terrifying. I love you.”
“What?”
Asahi freezes, realizing that with one problem averted, hehad just created another—he hadn’t meant to—oh, no. That was totallyunromantic, wasn’t it? Sure, he had been wussing out of telling you for awhile, always coming up with a different strategy and discarding the last, wonderingif he was good enough for you, thinking about being with you and how to dealwith rejection and this was most definitelynot the right time. Confessing in a dirty alleyway in a spur-of-the-moment decisionsounded absolutely terrible.
Asahi stutters a bit, quickly having snapped out of hisearlier stupor. “I mean, no. Wait, well… uh, yes! But… no. No, I can’t, I—erm…is… is this a bad time?”
You look back at him, genuinely surprised. “Wait, can yourepeat that?”
Asahi takes a deep breath in, and then looks away. He doesn’twant to look lame and be a stuttering mess, so he can’t bring himself to lookinto your eyes. That, and he’s somewhat ashamed—he had planned so many otherconfessions far better than this one,but then again, he hadn’t bet on getting attacked and having you save him. “I…uh, I’ve actually liked you. For a while now, and… and it kind of just cameout. I’m sorry. It’s just… you saved my life, and you were like… I was seeingthe light? Man, that sounds terrible…”
“Asahi,” you start to explain, slowly but surely, “Don’tworry about it.”
“Ugh, this is the worst… I’mthe worst. I’m sorry for springing this on you, and you’re probablystressed too because you had to save me, and…”
You press a kiss to Asahi’s lips, holding it for a fewseconds, and then separate. “Asahi, I love you, too.”
