After the very long time practice finally Yuu found Tetsu who sitting on the bench to take some rest, then walked closer to him with a bottle drink. "Good job today, Tetsu-kun!" She gave it to him as smiling widely. Today is her birthday, but he haven't say anything to her yet, actually it made her a bit annoyed. "Who's have a birthday today~?"

Tetsu was staring at the field while reflecting back on the practice and he saw someone approaching him. Yuu was smiling as she gave him a drink, so he smiled back.

“Thank you very much for the drink.” He took it and drank the fresh water; just what he needed after practice. Yuu then asked playfully about whose birthday is it today.

Tetsu thought of today’s date; it’s definitely not his birthday. His process of elimination then concluded something. “Oh… It’s.. Your birthday?" His lips then formed a smile. "Happy birthday Yuu, wish you all the best.”

" I am really glad you enjoyed it as much as I did.It was nice to hang out with you Furuya" I gave him a warm smile and looked around me. The atmosphere was so calm and nice. Just like Furuya, anywhere we'd been he made me relax and I could be myself. I gave the polar bear a quick hug then looked up at his eyes. " I guess we'll see each other around sometime?" - Ruby

Furuya, surprised from the hug, slightly hugged Ruby back. He slightly nodded, but his eyes showed that he was slightly uncertain. Furuya was never close to girls in the first place, and he didn’t know how he should be acting towards Ruby. He was unsure whether he should be letting Ruby go home alone or not; he thought that normally boys would choose to accompany. “…Are you okay, going home by yourself?”

"Hey, I'm not that clumsy!" Though truthfully, that was likely to happen. Not that I'll ever let him see me slipping into the gutter. "And, you know, you're worrying too much about me. I say I'll worry about you to keep the balance. You can't convince me otherwise." I pressed send and stared at my phone for a moment before typing another text. "Actually, do you mind if I call you instead? Texting's hard with the touch screen." I screamed in embarrassment when I sent it. -Inori

When Miyuki was in the middle of typing, the second text message went inside his inbox, so he decided to just call instead of continuing typing.

“Sup, the not-that-clumsy-person,” Miyuki started before being somewhat aware of his own deep and scratchy voice- well, he just finished practice, and he had to use his voice a lot during it, sometimes straining because of the distance between him and the pitchers also the other people, so it was pretty much a given, but he just couldn’t help to be super aware of it. “I mean, if our first meeting wasn’t me trying to make sure that you don’t die, sure, I would believe that. Me, in the other hand, heroically saved the day that time so I don’t think you need to worry about me.” He laughed at his own words, realizing how cheesy that was.

The gentle soft kiss felt great and It provoke butterflies in my stomach,this wasn't like the other long kiss, this was indeed a kiss to make sure it was of love. It truly was. Again speechless, again embarrassed. But in a good way? Sawamura was an interesting guy for sure! "I know right only a week and I feel comfortable around you too!" I smiled happily shouting "yes I wanna go out with you Eijun!" I placed my arms around his neck and gave him a peck on the cheek. "I am so happy!!" - Liza

Sawamura wrapped his arms around Liza, nuzzling against her neck like a puppy. “I’m glad that you like me enough to accept me!” He grinned happily, though it was quick to turn into a nervous smile. “I- I might be inexperienced but I will make sure that I will try my best in making you the happiest girlfriend in the world- um though practice still has to come first because otherwise the Shogun will murder me to pieces- but but- I will not mind sharing my food with you!” Which was the biggest proclamation of love wasn’t it?

I was speechless. He did not just say that. Deeply embarrassed I looked out the window at the full moon, the stars and back at him. " I- I don't know....damn, it just felt so right..." Confused of my feelings I just didn't know what to say really, did I really just got a crush on someone by one week? Is that even possible? My head said no, but my heart told me yes. Finally able to speak again I whispered "c-could we do it again?" - Liza

“S-sure, I guess?” Sawamura tilted his head slightly, before smiling and pressing his warm lips against Liza’s, gentler this time. It was like almost he was making sure of his own feelings- to make sure that it was actual love and not just a second of lust. The soft kiss remained that way until they parted again, and Sawamura gave Liza a grin of reassurance before speaking, though it didn’t help that his voice sounded a little bit nervous.

“Uhmm- I mean, this is not how I planned my heartfelt confession to be, especially just after a week, but...” Sawamura scratched his nape, laughing nervously, “I mean, I took your lips’ virginity already-” DONT PUT IT THAT WAY. “- and I actually really like you and I feel really comfortable around you, though I can’t say much since it only has been a week, so... shall we go out?”

"That does sound tiring. How many hours do you guys even practice? I overheard once that some of you even train until midnight." I tilted my head and looked at my bedside clock. It was slowly inching to 10 pm. He must be really exhausted. "Am I keeping you up? If you're feeling sleepy, you should just go and rest. You keep on worrying about me when you're way more tired than I am. We still have a long day at school tomorrow, you know!" -Inori

Miyuki smiled as he read the message. Usually, he was the one who was worrying over everyone, to have something that was the opposite of that was a refreshing change. Though, of course, he’d want Inori to not worry- after all, he was used to it, and besides, tiring or not, it was still, and probably will always be, the path that he’d chosen.

Nah, I will wait another hour until the food from dinner is fully digested before I actually sleep. It isn’t just about practice you know- baseball. Though of course, the long hours are mostly practice, which ranges depending on your position, motivation, and stamina- mine is undecided because I have to see the pitcher’s condition as well. I keep it above five hours a day though, including the morning practice. Sometimes when I feel like it I also add a few hours after practice, and so does most of the team. But baseball is also about keeping your body in shape, so don’t worry, my body will hold. The tiredness will also fade away by tomorrow, and I will still be more awake than you are. You better worry about yourself. Don’t get injuries from stupid things like slipping into the gutter or something.

I quietly listened to Kawakami. His voice was soothing, which I loved to listen to. "Whoa, that is a long time." I said amazed before looking at Miyauchi, who was looking around like he was searching for somone. "Ah, I think Miyauchi senpai is looking for you..." I said dejectedly, small pout on my lips. I wanted to talk with him more, but I knew how much practice meant for him. The last thing I wanted was for Kawakami to miss it. "It was nice to talk with you," 'finally' I added in my thoughts.

“Yeah, it has been a long time indeed. Maybe that’s why I am too hooked with baseball- it’s already a part of me, I guess, with all those years spent doing it?” Kawakami chuckled, his previous nervousness dissipating slowly but surely. He raised his eyebrows when he heard the name of his catcher’s name, and confirmed Hebi’s words as he turned around and talked with Miyauchi a bit. “Sorry, I will have to go back to practice now, but you are free to stick around for as long as you want. It was really nice talking with you! And by the way- if it’s not rude to ask, may I ask you your name? I don’t think I’ve heard from you.” He offered his hand with a smile.

"Hmm it did" I woke up a little bit sleepy and looked out the window. I took a look around and i honestly don't know if I want to know how long I've been sleeping. There were not really many people now so it was probably getting late. Furuya had been reading, but now it was time to go. " You're right, we should head back to campus. I don't want you to miss an important meeting or something" - Ruby

Furuya slightly nodded to Ruby’s words and the two of them stretched for a while after sitting for at least two hours. Furuya and Ruby returned the book to where it belonged and they head out from the library along with the book Ruby needed to check out.

On their way back home to the campus, Furuya said something, quietly but clearly. “…Thank you for today. I had fun reading the book and the visit to the cafe was nice as well.”

Just like a mom, I thought with a smile as I plopped down on my bed, typing quickly to send my reply. "Sorry about that. There was an emergency with my dad so I didn't have time to text you at all." Then I sent another text. "It was pretty uneventful on my way back. I kept on squinting the whole time though, hahaha. What about your practice? Had a fun one with your wild, precious pitchers?" -Inori

Miyuki read the message with a relieved sigh, glad the other was normal regarding the text that he sent. He became more relaxed and sat on the bed as he texted.

Even when it was eventful, you won’t be able to see them anyways. And my pitchers are just like usual- Sawamura forced me to stick around for so long, he didn’t even care that the sun had set. It took him a wild ball to the face to get him to give up. Well- it was partially my fault, too, for not aiming properly, but I had bad eyesight to begin with, the dark didn’t help. I am glad that at least Coach told Furuya to rest today, or I’d just drop dead on my bed in a heartbeat. As fun as it was, it was tiring, to say the least.

My heart skipped a bit when I felt eijuns response, I too, wanted to treasure the moment. When he pulled me closer I totally lost it, the feeling was too good and with this guy, so right. It felt so right. This was my fist kiss too, and I wanted it to be something I'd remember for the longest of time. I took him in for a passionate long kiss that left me breathless when we pulled slowly away after a while. "Oh my gosh..." Was all I could say while my face heated up in the color red. - Liza

Sawamura finally let go of Liza when he felt the other losing her breath, though he kept his face close without reason- probably it was a part of his instincts, of not wanting to be apart for too long. “I-- didn’t take you as someone this bold, and I certainly didn’t expect that to happen, but...” He smiled sincerely, a deep blush covering the apple of his cheeks, “it felt good! I hope it felt as good for you as it was for me though.” He then paused for a while as his brain started up again. “Was it the cue for me to confess?” Sawamura Eijun, you didn’t just ask that.

I've been too focused since the lecture began that it startled me when the bell rang. World History always ended so soon. Stretching my limbs, I stood up and picked up a broom to start the cleaning duty when my phone buzzed. It was dad. Said it was an emergency. I quickly excused myself from the cleaning duty and left before I could say goodbye to Miyuki, completely forgetting that I was supposed to watch their practice. Later that night, I texted him. "Hey, Miyuki. It's Inori." -Inori

Miyuki had to go straight to practice afterwards, but he kept checking his phone during breaks -which earned a tiny scold from Rei-chan- only to see [0 unread message] in the messaging box. He was worried because Inori didn’t send him any message, but he didn’t have the time to actually send anything to Inori. He tried not to show it too much since he had to keep himself together in the practice session, kept on telling himself that it’d be okay. But it was unfortunate that things ran a little bit too long because Sawamura kept on insisting him to catch more and more balls, making him worry even more, so he could only finally reach for his phone again with time to spend during the late night. He finally could let a relieved sigh.

I thought I told you to tell me when you arrived home.

He realized that it sounded nagging, so he sent another text.

Though well, you are safe, and that’s all that matters. How was your day without your glasses?

"Yes, I'm also a second year, but in different class." I answered and leaned on my left foot, looking to the side. "Thank you for allowing me to stay and watch. Not many do. Some just hate to have anyone in vicinity." I sweat dropped, but smiled and looked back at Kawakami. "I really enjoy and like watching you play. I don't know much about baseball, but I can see you're giving your best even on practice." My smile grew wider. "If you don't mind me asking, when did you start playing baseball?"

“No wonder, I thought I’ve seen you around.” Kawakami scratched his cheek as he smiled. “And I think nobody will mind you sticking around. Most people are just too busy with practice to pay attention to the surroundings. As long as they are not interfering with practice, it’s totally okay. Besides, we’re used to audiences because we have audience every time. Even practice matches have fair amount of audience, so we just get used to it somehow. We are also honored that there are people who come and support us! It gives us power to keep going and doing our best.” 

Out of nervousness of being praised, he averted his sight to the ground for a while before gazing back at Hebi. “Thank you... I do plan in improving and being of help to the team, so I really have to do my best, or I’ll get left behind. Here in Seidou’s baseball team, everyone is giving our all. Even the talented ones work the hardest, so I can’t slack off even just for a second.” He smiled shyly, though a flicker of determination could be seen in his eyes. “Start playing baseball, huh... I think from primary school? It was all just fun and games back then, though, unlike now which is more competitive.”

"Hahah It's okey, he got back in the game again!". When I felt his arms around me I snuggled up even closer. I could hear his heartbeat and that is one of the most soothing things in the world You actually never know when it stops beating. I looked up at him again, I have so much to learn from him I thought. Somewhat nervous I placed my hand on his cheek, making him face me. "Hey Eijun..." I said quietly, "Is it okey if I kiss you?" Before he could answer I placed my lips on his.-Liza

Sawamura was trying to focus on the movie- really trying, which was strange because he liked these kind of movies, but let’s just say that there were a few distractions. But the most surprising one would be what happened just now- a rhetorical question followed by an action that was too quick for him to follow- weird considering that he is a baseball player with fairly quick reaction time, but his reaction time was rendered useless as the other’s lips touched his, warm and soft and something that he had never encountered before, something that had crossed his mind a few times after reading particularly romantic shoujo mangas, but never something that was actually real for him to feel. At least up until this point.

And it was different than he imagined- certainly there weren’t background of flowers or audience that was placed just for the effect, though the romantic background music from the TV did accompany the kiss nicely. It wasn’t sweet per se either, but it was indeed soft and in the strangest way addictive. And it wasn’t a kiss that he had planned- he planned that it was by his initiation, built up through a lot of plot and dates, though everything melted away in the softness, and he found it much more pleasant, despite the fact that Liza beat him to the punch. Maybe because it was real instead of something from his imagination? And maybe- it was because he was with someone that he felt very comfortable with?

He then wrapped his arms around Liza, pulling the other closer and deepening the kiss.

Screw with the thinking stuff. It wasn’t the time for that. He just wanted to feel the entire thing, savoring every moment of his first kiss.

Hearing Furuya's words woke me up. Although he was quite I could hear he was concerned about if he could actually meet a polar bear one day. I looked up at him, still sleepy still holding around his arm. "Don't worry Furuya, you'll get to see them one day. Don't worry to much about. Our generation are gonna make the world better, just wait and see" I told him with confidence and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. "Don't worry" I repeated quietly and drifted back to sleep. - Ruby

Ruby reassured Furuya that he could still see polar bears in the future was one thing but… her pecking his cheek was new. As Ruby went back to sleep, Furuya felt a little bit nervous. That was only natural; no one had done that to him before. Nevertheless, he kept his cool to not disturb the girl that was resting on his shoulder.

Furuya listened to the sound of rain and it sounded like it was not raining as hard as before. …I might still catch a cold though, he thought. Knowing that he couldn’t do anything about the weather, he carefully took the book Ruby and he were reading earlier to his lap. He immersed himself to the lives of the animals living on the icy parts of the world.

Reading the book made him completely forgot about the time and he looked around the library. There were still some people but noticeably fewer than before. He tried to listen to the rain and it was no longer raining. He looked at Ruby sleeping peacefully - he felt bad to wake her up, but he should. “Ruby..? The rain has stopped.”

"Oh," was the only sound that came out of my mouth when I heard his response. Then, slowly, I started grinning and giggling at the same time, finding his words endearingly considerate. "You saying your number's not just an emergency number just proves that you're kind at heart," Chuckling once more, I sat on my chair just as the teacher came in and said, "I'll take you up on your offer, then. Just tell me when you're busy though. I don't want to bother you when you're resting and stuff." -Inori

“I think everyone in my team will question your sanity if they hear you saying that right now, because normally they do not associate me with the word ‘kind’. Thank you though,” Miyuki chuckled before catching the teacher from the corner of his eye. He then patted Inori’s head lightly before saying, “I am used to be bothered all the time by Sawamura so I don’t think you will be any bother at all, except you are barraging me every minute like a madman. Well, don’t forget to text me later so I can save your number, yeah?” He then took his seat at the back, preparing to get the class over with.

My cheeks darkened and eyes widened. "I...uh..." I looked to the ground, biting my lower lip, embarrassed for being caught. "I was just...uh...watching...you play. I-I hope i-it's okay..." I smiled sheepishly, but coughed and scratched the side of my head, looking away once again. 'Way to embarrass yourself...' Kawakami widened his eyes, taken by surprise that someone actually do watch him. It made his heart felt warm and fuzzy and he knew it was not all that special because their baseball club was pretty famous and having supporters, especially as pitchers, is considered normal, but it just made him happy that a slight blush appeared on his cheeks. “Of course it’s okay! Thank you for supporting us- and me, especially! I- I never expected to have someone who watched me especially, so it makes me really happy.” He smiled sincerely towards the female, a slight hesitation slipping in-between. “Ah, I think I’ve seen you around outside of the field as well. I think we sometimes pass each other in the hallways. Are you a second-year like me?”

"Oh I can't believe you think that! I feel like I am such a bother...But I just very easily fascinated of things. I always question things and ask about 'the why', I want to learn as much as I can!Even though I am not the sharpest knife I want to learn everything." I told him and positioned myself to cuddle the loud guy, because I just can't help myself when it's getting darker outside and the feeling of warmth and coziness. "Omg did you see that! He totally embarrassed himself!hahaha" -Liza :)

“A bother? Never!” Sawamura frowned, his arms wrapped around Liza as he played as the big spoon. It just felt so right, and that was all that mattered. “It’s fun! Easily fascinated is by no means a bad thing. Anyone who says that to you deserves to be put in Kuramochi-senpai’s headlock ten times a day. And I’ll have you know, they hurt like hell!” His eyes finally turned to the TV, he hadn’t been paying attention. He wasn’t good in multi-tasking, after all. “Wait wait what happened what happened-”
