Hi all,
I’m Kiran from team 2826 Wave Robotics (in Wisconsin). I’m a junior in high school, I currently use she/her pronouns, and I’m queer. As a team, we’re involved with First Help Now and always ready to give advice on that side of things!
I’m co-team lead, software, outreach, and whatever else needs to be done including but not limited to: mechanical, awards, fundraising, and electrical. I was also the operator for our 2016 season and hope to continue that throughout the rest of my high school robotics career. This is my third season with FIRST, and I plan on staying involved with the community for many years to come.

This year, we will be attending the Central Illinois Regional (week 3) and Seven Rivers Regional (week 7). Hopefully, we will also be at the North Championships in St Louis.
Outside of robotics, I’m co-editor in chief of my school newspaper, I’m a 2x state forensics competitor, a JV cross country runner, and I’m involved in Arabic club. I used to play soccer and play the viola. I still play the piano, and I occasionally code for fun. Once, I did a TEDx talk. At school, I take hard classes and cry.
I love talking to people from the FIRST community! Find me on twitter @kiranloewenste01, snapchat @kiranomimus, and chief delphi @kiranl.
