Hello, all! 

As you’ve surely seen, Admin Clau has stepped down from her muses for the time being to focus more on some real life issues, which I wish her the best with! However, she will still be working alongside me on the main, especially with the more behind-the-scenes portion of the work.

Just for some quick housekeeping - info about opening the applications for King Henry and the Queen-to-be Christina will be coming this weekend, so do keep your eyes peeled.

There will also be an activity check this coming Sunday - we’ve been pretty generous with activity checks because we ourselves have been busy, but now that things are adjusting, we will be taking these into account again. If you have any questions or concerns when it comes to your own activity, please contact either the main or message me on Discord, and I will do anything I can to help out!

We also want to remind everyone we have a co-admin application and although we haven’t been advertising it very much lately, it’s open and available!

Sure, anon! The real life Jane’s birth year is unknown so I don’t know how old she might have been in 1536, though she could have been a fool as early as Anne Boleyn’s reign (1533-36) and as late as Mary I’s reign (1553-58) so I’ve chosen some younger fc ideas here. However, if you want some ideas that are a little older or just some other options, feel free to ask! Hope these help - I would love to see Jane!

where could Sean teale fit?

Hi anon!

Sean could fit a number of roles! He was previously suggested as a faceclaim for Mark Smeaton, a court musician, and I have to agree it would suit him very well! I also think he would be great as a foreign nobleman or ambassador - I think he would work wonderfully coming from Spain or somewhere in Italy, and both already have characters here he could connect to. One of our wanted figures, Cesare Adelmare, is an Italian physician who lived in what was then the Republic of Venice, and although in real life he didn’t come until Mary I’s reign, we would gladly have him!

Hello everyone! Just a quick note - Admin Clau and I are both quite busy at the moment with our respective real life activities, so apologies for the quietness on the main and around the group. Also, since many of our members are on hiatuses at the moment and the holidays and New Year are nipping at our heels, it’s decided that there will not be any activity check this week. We understand many of you will be traveling or simply busy, even if not celebrating, so no need to worry! We may do one next Sunday, but it will have to be considered and we’ll let you know.

Things are slowed down with the holidays, but we are definitely still around and will keep our eyes on the main to answer questions and accept new apps!
