Step-Fur baby #2, Abraxas. I love this gorgeous doofus. <3
are any of you on T? (im new here lmao) and did anyone /have/ to get a hysterectomy? I'm worried I'll absolutely have to and ya know, that's a whole surgery and no more reproducing which I cant handle
I’ve been on T going on 7 years now. About 3 years in, I opted/was advised to get a hysterectomy due to some cramps/spotting that I couldn’t handle. In saying that, though, I also had PCOS, and a long line of endometriosis in my family so the hysterectomy was mostly precautionary and it DEFINITELY wasn’t mandatory. A lot of doctors will recommend it after so long, and there’s rumors T can increase risk of cervical cancer (can’t really say how factual that is) so they advise it. It’s also been a prerequisite for changing legal documents to be sterile, just in nicer wording (thank God that’s not as common as it used to be) Long answer short: No, you don’t have to get a hysterectomy, unless it’s medically necessary. -Jonah
Coloring my hair so thought, hey, might as well get some pre-op appreciation pics as well as mini muscle appreciation. That last picture is my "I guess my back isn't terrible" face. Been having some bad dysphoria for a few days but I'm feeling okay with my body today, and that's enough for now. ❤ Also: shout out to all the pre-op/no-op folks and whatever reason you have for not getting/having/wanting top surgery. You're all fucking beautiful. ~admin Jonah
The boyfriend playing with step-dog Abraxas. This boy does not know he has such an A+++++ trans body. Give him compliments! ~admin Jonah
Super sleepy, super sick boy. But other than that, life has been looking up. I start the first serious job I've had in years since chronic social anxiety and chronic pain took over my life. I'll be working with a small company that makes jewelry, mostly beach glass, custom, and awareness jewelry (cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer's, autism being a few, with partial proceeds going to respective charities) I talked to my boss, and I brought up an idea - trans and LGBT awareness jewelry. They can be custom made, and I am planning to make a sample bracelet. All materials are high end, and made well. Here's a link to the business, so you can see some things. With that being said, I need to see if there's any interest in trans related jewelry, to hopefully make more awareness for my rural town! Please comment or send an ask if you'd be interested. Prices I can't quote right now, but if you check out the website you can see the general prices for their awareness jewelry. https://karlande-designs.myshopify.com/collections Thanks! -jonah
I'm really feeling low right now. I'm a trans man but I'm being attacked by other trans people on tumblr because I'm not trans enough. Theyre saying that I'm not valid and that I don't matter and it's making me physically sick. I need help.
I’m so sorry that you’re getting so much hate from the community. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of people who hate themselves so much that they can’t help but lash out at people who make THEM feel insecure about THEMSELVES. It’s not right in any way, but please know it’s not you. You are valid, you are “trans enough” (Like it’s even a thing) and you DEFINITELY matter. If it’s making you feel physically sick, maybe it’s time to take a break from Tumblr and take some time for self care. Do something you love, surround yourself with positive people, and try your darndest not to listen to the insecure people who want to bring you down. You’re more than welcome to continue talking to me (or another admin, up to you) through chat or here if you’re comfortable. We’re always here to help someone feeling down. -Jonah
