Just had two lovely visits one after the other; one from Mei and one from The Boyfriend and his very lovely mum Rachel 💖 feeling much more positive after a Costa (Mei), some cwtches (everybody!) and some good ol’ laughter. Love really is the best medicine 💊💖 My amazing mum and dad are unable to visit because mum is very unwell with an infection herself... she will probably be admitted to hospital herself. So I’m definitely staying in today and another night 😢 I’m having IV gensamithine because rn it’s the only antibiotic I’m showing 100% responsive too. I also have to have my catheter changed because they feel leaving an infected cathater in will simply encourage the infection to linger/return. May be having an actual antibiotic injection into my bladder too😳. Very anxious about the cathater change; I’ve only just got used to/calm about LMC doing it... prospect of a stranger changing it makes me very very very anxious. They are quite worried because I’ve been on oxygen but my SAT still aren’t great, and I’ve had a very low blood pressure this morning; it was so low I got a bit confused and apparently asked them where my balloons were! No drugs involved! I’m on increased buccal medazalam and abstral. Very spasmy and in a lot of pain. Still being sick 🤢 which I HATE. Absolutely gutted I have to stay in, as it looks like I’ll miss my last dance class, Blue’s play, and maybe even meeting Blue’s family and my guitar Christmas do on Friday... I’m am trying to hold onto a vague hope for Friday, but have a suspicion they want to keep me in til Monday. GUTTED. The one positive is I’m in llandough and literally all the staff know/remember me ❤️ and my best bud and top nurse Keith is looking after me 👍🏻! Going to do bowel washout and have a little wash now. Still feel like crap. On IV fluids.
