I finally got to dabble in Illustrator and made some digital patterns for an assignment. I took pictures of some old cars that my family and I own, and a picture of one of my cats and went around them with the pen tool and made some interesting shapes with the silhouettes. Then I took those and repeated them in different forms/orientation to make my patterns. These are supposed to be a representation of a few of the Gestalt principles. The principles I chose are as follows: Repetition, Proximity, Closure, and Continuation.
