"Warnings about fake accounts Purple Manul"
Hello! I want to tell you about Purple Manul, which has been the subject of many fake accounts lately. Adopts she created, which were sold long ago on VK and Rednote, are being resold in social media under her name. The number of victims is growing, so I decided to warn you here, as well as help Purple Manul spread her real social media accounts, with her permission and as a co-author of this warning!!
! At the time of posting this, Purple Manul sells her adopts only on VK and Rednote – nowhere else!
Most of the time, fakes are found on DeviantArt, Instagram, YCH.Commishes. Please check whether the signature 'Purple Manul' is present! If there is no signature, the person is most likely a scammer. Also look at the account's posts: most scammers sell adopts mixed with different styles from other artists, and their posts will be relatively recent, with many auctions happening at once.
Also, please be careful where you send your money. Purple Manul accepts payment only Boosty and Russian banks (https://boosty.to/purple_manul) – only here!! There are no other Boosty accounts besides this one!!
Please, ALWAYS ask for proof of character creation – sketch/coloring. Real artists will always easily show you all work stages via screenshots, show you layers of the work, etc. Proof can be forged, so be careful there too – often it's just a traced outline over the original artwork.
I also recommend doing a reverse image search, because that will always show which other social networks the adopt has been posted on, the date of that post, and the author's real social media accounts.
If the seller says they bought from the author and are now reselling here, ask for proof of obtaining the character. Unfortunately, that can also be forged, so be careful in that regard as well.
Please, if you find a fake account and are sure it's one, report it and let others know it's a scammer. I also ask you to share this post and warn your friends/acquaintances about this situation, to protect not only yourself but also others.
