Here’s the digital version of my DC OC Constance!

Wasn’t sure if I was gonna post this or not but here it is. My OC for the movie Sing This is Ruby and she’s the adopted daughter of Clay Calloway (one of the characters from Sing 2). Her story is that from the time that she was a baby, she lived in Calatonia State Orphanage with a bunch of other kids who lost their parents. She doesn’t remember a lot about her biological parents but all she knows is that she has her fathers eyes and that the stuffed lamb that she’s had since birth was the only gift her biological mother had given her, also at that time, she didn’t even have a name so the people in the orphanage called her “Runt” or “Speckles” (because of all the spots). Some time after the events of Sing 2 (which I won’t spoil due to those who haven’t seen the movie yet), Clay spends some time performing in various spots in Calatonia and one of them just happened to be the orphanage. While Clay was performing for the kids, he noticed the little cub singing along with him and asked where she learned to sing like that, she replies that she’s self taught. Clay comes back to the orphanage to perform and help out the staff and overtime, becomes smitten by the cub and her kind heart and beautiful voice, so, on the third week of visiting, Clay signed the papers and officially adopted the cub.

(This next bit contains spoilers so don’t read if you haven’t seen Sing 2 yet)

On the first day in her new home, the cub notices a picture of Clay and his late wife Ruby on the wall in the living room, when she asks who she is, Clay is reluctant to say anything at first, but he eventually tells her all about Ruby. Liking the sound of that name, she asks if she could be named after Clays wife and with tears of joy in his eyes, Clay agrees and the two have been inseparable ever since.

This is my brand new OC for the Fantastic Four franchise! Everyone, say hello to Fern! Fern Paisley Richards! She's the adopted daughter of Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman.  This little lady's backstory began in a little house by the sea. Fern was born to her parents Boris and Amelia who both loved and adored her dearly and she spent the first six years of her life living by the sea with her loving family. Everyday she would play on the beach, collect shells in the sand, and swim in the ocean. At age three, her parents discovered that she had the power to generate bubbles but her powers didn't make their parents love her any less. In fact, they thought her powers were adorable. Then, tragedy struck. When Fern was six years old, her parents were involved in a boating accident causing them both to drown.  Because Fern didn't have any other relatives living close to her, she ended up packing her bags and moving into an orphanage. On the good side, the orphanage wasn't anything like you hear about in books and movies and the people there were really nice to her and took good care of her. On the bad side, she missed her parents dearly and often cried at night just thinking about them.  She thought that she was going to stay in that orphanage forever until one day during lunch time, Susan and Reed came to visit the orphanage as to entertain the other kids with their powers, that is, until they saw Fern and how she desperately needed a family. On that day, they adopted her and finally, Fern had a family again. I did a thing... Now that the Marvel Cinematic/Animated Universe has my OC Saige, the DC Filmverse/Animated Universe has my new OC: Constance, the adopted daughter of Clark Kent (AKA: Superman). She became an orphan at age two until she got adopted by a supposedly nice couple who couldn't have children of their own at age three and for the next four years, she lived a comfortable life and the couple (Amanda and Travis) never made her feel like she was adopted. Then, after Constance's seventh birthday, Amanda became pregnant and a year later, gave birth to a baby boy named Ethan, After Ethan was born, Travis began to push Constance away and began treating her differently. He started to enforce gender rolls by making her do all the cooking and cleaning while he showered Ethan with love and affection. Weeks later, he started abusing her, leaving her with emotional scars and bruises and cuts and since Travis gave Ethan Constance's old room, he made Constance sleep in the basement and what's worse, her mother didn't do anything about it since according to Travis, doesn't have the right to speak up. A few months later, on a rainy spring night, Constance discovered something incredible: she had the power of creating ice and snow with just the wave of her hand. When Travis knew about this, he disowned her from her family and took her back to the orphanage. After leaving, she began to feel the trauma of all the abuse she took and had trouble controlling her powers, so she had to wear gloves all the time, even when it was hot out (specifically, she wore fingerless gloves so she wouldn't have trouble holding things). Just over a month ago, during a field trip to the park, Clark noticed Constance but she shyly ran away. She asked one of the caretakers of the orphanage on who she was. When the caretaker told Constance's story to him, Clark immediately made a decision: he was going to adopt Constance and raise her as his own and within three and a half weeks, Clark became Constance's adopted father. She currently lives in Wayne manor with the other Justice League members who all accepted her as one of the team and had recently found out about her ice powers and are training her to control them better and use her powers for good. . . .
