To be. an adoptee
Fragmented from ashes which burned years ago in a land, far far away to a body I do not own, to a face that was misplaced, to a name that was erased. To a country I was born to but still feel as an outsider, to a name I can not claim, to a family who reliquinshed their rights and let me go, to try not to take that 'personal' to attempt to piece the part of me that was once so broken for me to see that I am, in fact, without a 'culture', I lack, I subtract mathematics. the equation remains the same. One plus one equals two but One minus one is just Me who tried to find the place in which I belong Not a face to mirror mine, just the hands of time.
Try to remember I am Me even with these misplaced Identities even with my 'fake' name, try to remember that there is no blame but its difficult to accept the
~holograms of me~
its difficult to merge the Me I was supposed to be into the Me I am Today.
Its even more difficult to write this and articulate this misplace, this dull ache. Its even more difficult because
perhaps,
This was our Fate to live and breathe as another Race.
