18 years ago today I adopted this..….creature. It’s been the most perfectly normal and not ridiculous 18 years of my life.
I love you Gibson, you are the best thing that’s ever happened to me 🩷

January 9th, 2023 is my cat's 9 year adoptiversary. ❤️ I adore him so much, I genuinely don't know what I'd do without him. 🥰🥰🥰
Happy adoptiversary, Bao.
Bao had an upper respiratory infection and was on a medical hold at a NYC animal shelter when I first stumbled across her. I kept tabs on when she would be ready for adoption and she came off medical hold on Valentine’s Day. Since the shelter does not “reserve” animals and was on a first come basis, I had to go to the shelter that day or risk someone else adopting her. That’s how I got my forever valentine. 💗
Baobao means baby/treasure in mandarin (she is named after the panda at the DC zoo). So now she has to deal with a crazy woman singing “always be my BAOby” version of Mariah Carey’s classic song.
Happy Adoptiversary to my best friend and partner in crime 💕
Happy 9th Adoptiversary
It’s been six years since I brought this baby home. I don’t know where the time has gone but Penny has been the best part of those six years. ❤️❤️❤️
4 years ago this little girl became an official family member. We’re all crazy about little Miss Mare! 😻🤗 Miss Mare was adopted at 10 years old. She was considered a special needs cat due to her obesity at the time (she was 19 lbs at adoption, down from 21). Her owner had brought her into Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester to be euthanized because she felt she was “suffering” due to her obesity 😿 but fortunately Lollypop saw her potential & had her signed over to them for adoption. She fit into our family right away & is now living out her golden years, happy & loved with her pal Bushy B. 😺 Please, always choose to save a life & opt to adopt your animal companions! And consider older animals or animals that might need extra TLC, they are not as easy to place as kittens. 😽
After yesterday's tragedy, there is some happiness. Happy Gotcha Day to my Bal Baby Boy ❤️🐈⬛🎉 Shh - he's celebrating by taking a well-deserved nap 🤫
