My working theory for this canon is that while holy water is still effective against demons, it’s very hard to come by since most of the priests got immediately raptured.

So I had to improvise.

I didn’t realize when I was originally drawing this series how often I was putting Conquest Through It

You may have heard of the phrase “When you hear hoof beats, think horses, not zebras,” meaning that you should always consider the more common (and therefore likely) possibly for any situation before jumping to the more absurd ones. Trouble is, in the apocalypse, there IS no “more likely” scenario. Natural disasters, alien invasions, the Rapture—each event is just as likely or unlikely as the next. Hey, it’s the end of the world, after all. Anything goes.

Although if you’re an equestrian, chances are that it’s always “horses” in pretty much ANY situation.
